First 30 minutes superb then started to lose the midfield. Tav looking a bit sharper today.

Solanke should have scored the first one, 2nd he did everything he could. He needs to be stronger in the challenge though, been bullied off it a few times.

Bit worried about our right side with Smith's lack of pace. He doesn't get tight to his man so he doesn't get done for pace, but it invites the cut in and shot from Barnes or Gordon.

Kluivert is more effective in the 10 role than Scott and is essential to our press.
 
Ht thoughts. We are a dirtier team than we’ve ever been I think since Pulis managed. Quite like it! Again haven’t taken the chances the performance deserved. Cook and Christie right back on form after both being poor v Fulham. Don’t think we are exploiting Burn with Semenyo. He good to see Dango or Sini up against him. If they score it will be when one of our centre half’s goes into midfield as they are drilled to exploit that you can see as they always put the ball straight down the middle. Really enjoyable.
 
Decent half, but you do have to bear in mind that they don’t have a single fit centre forward.

Solanke really does need to be scoring at least one of those chances, they don’t come around too often at this level. He’ll be lucky to get a clear as opening in the rest of the game.

Cook and Christie decent so far and Semenyo. Kelly also impressive. Tav anonymous again and Smith not really got the legs anymore. Neto is an accident waiting to happen.

How about Kluivert v Burn on the right and Scott in at number 10?
 
Nothing wrong with the performance really. Be a shame for the winless run to continue with City up next, there are teams that IMO play worse football than us climbing ahead of us due to simple errors and poor finishing.
 
Does anyone else feel like our press has gone slightly off the boil in recent games? The effort is still there but it feels like teams are playing around it quite easily atm.
