Non - ABBA - Any Fans On Here?

They were the most famous and successful band that won Eurovision yes but the best song winner ever was Lordi Hard Rock Hallelujah.

Agnetha is known to be a hard piece of work and is the sole reason they didn't unite for nearly 40 years because she didn't want to know but obviously the money must've dried up so she changed her tune.

Always liked ABBA, even back in the 70s when they were uncool.

Fabulous songwriters, in terms of pure pop melodies I'd rate them right up there with Lennon and McCartney.

How could anyone not like this piece of perfection ?

Sublime: don't think the Beatles generally would match that Gem...although Hey Jude would.. much of it depends on Mood.....same with Punk and Classical..and Neil D. etc....that's the beauty of Music ..its versatility and all - time availability these days online !

Having 10 million in the bank and receiving half a million every year in royalties is hardly being poor. Plus her 2 companies make a nice profit each year.

On the day that Abba won Eurovision at Brighton we played Charlton.

Have fond memories of a few hundred of us rattling around that huge terrace at The Valley that held about 25,000 and had once accommodated 44,000 supporters. Was even more space than when City gave us the Platt Lane stand at Maine Road. Those were t' days.
