Non - Thank you NHS

Good good news Rob, glad to hear you'll be back on the bus soon. Should have the band back together for Swansea : )

Viva the N.H.S.

Ps if you want to know what Blackpool was like yesterday, SkyArts are showing the Stone Roses live in Blackpool from '89 : )

So, I’ve had a couple of well-wishers after missing a few away games this season. I’ve passed it off as being a bit under the weather.

In truth I’ve been undergoing a few things since August, including a couple of minor operations, and a six week course of treatment, and I didn’t really feel like sharing it.

Today my wife, daughter, her boyfriend and myself went out for a meal to celebrate the end of the treatment.

I’ve got to go back in six weeks to see how well the treatment has done, but the nurse seemed to think that from now on it will be a case of monitoring me on a regular basis (poor bastards).

The support I’ve had from my family and the NHS has been fantastic. I just am amazed at how, despite everything going on with the pandemic, how the NHS has been able to offer me the best that they’ve got.

So no more missing away games for a while (hopefully)!

Pleased for you Rob.

NHS do wonderful stuff but sadly for my wife with long covid the care has been appalling and bordering on indifference.

Well done my old (but younger than me ) friend .....total respect for dealing with what you've been through and hopefully you've beat it. I don't pop in often nowadays but this was a good time to do so (y)

Best wishes mate and also to your family (and our cabin crew young un's);)..

Sorry to hear you've been going through it Rob but great to hear the support you've had has been top level.

So with a tricky winter period behind you it sounds like a welcome return to your best form for the run in. I'm sure there's going to some great results in six weeks! (I was going to say something about the table looking great by then but I'd imagine he's still going to be sporting some dreadful shirts ;)).

Great news, Rob. Best wishes to you for your continued recovery.

All the best wishes from myself Rob. I have much to thank the wonderful NHS for and after I had my 2nd jab, seems a long time ago now, I took a big box of chocolates to the doctor and said I would like to dedicate these to all the NHS staff who have given their lives to save mine!

Good to hear Rob, having also being in the care of the NHS in the last 3 weeks I can echo the praises they so richly deserve. I owe each day to them as it would have been so easy to have shuffled this mortal coil.

I think you'll find they are "classic " t-shirts, check out some pictures of the M.V.P., Cooper Kupp, from Sunday's Superb Owl : )

I can't be out of fashion, if I've never been in it : )
