Normally see about a dozen through the seasonOoh I've only seen one hummingbird moth in England. At worth matravers.
As the weather warms a bit and the dragonflies start coming out, I’m hoping for Hobbies over local ponds. As per my last post- been recommended to look out for them over the pond on Morden Bog- apparently a favourite feeding spot.They’ll be here any day now. Morden Bog this morning- saw my first Cuckoo. Loads of other great stuff too including three Crossbill, a Peregrine Falcon and this lovely Woodlark singing like a yodler in the woods. Super place.View attachment 14081
