A somewhat harsh second yellow but the ref can be seen to mouth “it was the follow through”, ie the ref thought he was out of control.

Meanwhile, I don’t understand why the selected TV commentary team chooses a pundit whose playing career is so closely linked to one of the clubs. This is broadcast globally, it’s not radio Nottingham.

Like it cannot rule on a 2nd yellow .

I thought everyone didn’t want VAR and were quite happy to accept refs decisions on the pitch even if it was “wrong “?

Happens all the time - Although we do get Tony Gale fairly often and he is really good, accept when we play West Ham
