Doug Freedman is reportedly about to leave his job as Crystal Palace’s sporting director to become Head of Recruitment at Man Utd. I can see why Palace might be interested in Hughes though I am unsure about the other way round.
 
Being multilingual is important these days if we are looking abroad to attract potential purchases. Richard Hughes has that attribute, I'm not sure Franno has.

So Foley didn’t agree to signing Sinisterra permanently after the close of the transfer window, Hughes did without the go ahead knowing we would get done for FFP.
According to you, we can’t sell some players that your antihero chose and we are doomed.
