If the payments are staged then Lorient pay the first installment for another year there.

Lorient get to extend a successful loan and we have a great talent on the books. Win win.

Bournemouth, and Fulham, have opened talks with Lyon about a move for 23 year old midfielder Romaine Faivre. Faivre has spent the season on loan at Lorient. Bournemouth's reported plan is to purchase Faivre, and are already talking to the player about a move, and loaning him back to Lorient...

Seems a little strange considering we seem to be haggling over other deals. Lorient do seem to have had some cracking players the last season and they clearly rate him so if nothing else a good investment. Wouldn't have minded him heading into our midfield mind but ....

I think we should be looking at Bonke Innocent and Maxime Wackers from Lorient for shits and giggles.

Our owner is their owner.

He's has a non controlling shareholding at Lorient. He doesn't own the club but obviously we have closer ties.

Both clubs need to work within FFP and perhaps Lorient couldn't afford to buy or the player likes the idea of having guaranteed French football with the option of stepping up to the Premier League next season.

Lots of reasons why this deal could make sense.

That would indicate that we are. either, still looking at a replacement for Jeff or the new boss is happy with what we have.
