Steve McClaren

I've been told Steve McLaren was dismissed as manager of Newcastle Utd after meetings this afternoon. Pearson or Moyes being looked at.

Newcastle's next game is against Leicester so if it's Pearson that could be pretty interesting...

No one in the pubs in Newcastle are saying that this evening. Although most are desperate for him to go. The only guy who wanted him to stay was a Sunderland fan!!!!

It's happening again, it's happening again...

"Home defeat by Bournemouth convinced club to dismiss McClaren."

“After the defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday the club has spent some time considering its position and has today concluded that Steve McClaren’s employment with the club will end with immediate effect.”

Taken all week. All a bit of a joke really

They were so confident they would beat lil ol B'mth they had to spend all this week to persuade another mug to take over the poisoned chalice.

I can remember the swfc manager getting stacked after losing to us.

Who else, is there a list of shame?

Mark Robins from Huddersfield after the 0-4 bashing by the mighty AFCB, first game of the season last season.

It sums up the whole club.

The fact that they had clearly not even been contemplating sacking him before (and not having sounded out potential replacements) before last Saturday is farcical.

The way they have played this out all week stringing him along also speaks for the complete ineptitude and mismanagement from top to bottom of Newcastle.

Didn't they get rid of Ardiles we beat them in the cup before bringing in Keegan first time around?

...yeah remember that night walking away from St Jame's Park and the Newcastle fans berating Ossie and saying thanks to us for helping to get him the sack which he got quickly after we beat them..

...looks like the PL will have to get used to having us around, wonder how long before we lose the little old Bournemouth tag?

Just watch the dick head waltz into another job somewhere.
Newcastle fans will be forever in debt to us for getting rid of the wally with the brolley. And to think the clowns at the FA decided he was going to be the England manager.

After manure's performance last night perhaps as he's an old boy & ex-England manager (looks good on a CV) they might take him on as a replacement for LVG. Hope so, that would would give us 3 nailed on points for our last game of the season

Sacked?

Bloody Hell, didn't see that one coming.

I'm praying that means 3 points for Leicester at the weekend, but after that, just as long as we're safe, a bit of a dead cat bounce for them and their new manager.

Doesn't seem so stupid delaying the sacking now when you announce Rafa an hour later.

3 year deal. This is going to end badly for Rafa. He may well keep them up this year, but I can only see huge clashes with Ashley in the summer when he wants to buy player A but gets player B.
