Not for everyone no and tbh I usually don't listen to this kind of metal(More of a Metallica and Sabaton guy) but always liked Slipknot.

I'm guessing you really wouldn't like their early stuff then - this one is positively melodic by comparison. I rather like it.

Bachman is a Canadian icon right at the top of the list.

I think I told this story before, but ...........

The Doobies were kicking it at a concert about 10 years ago here in Toronto, and brought Randy on stage for a couple of tunes. Crowd went nuts. Randy quit the stage to a big ovation, and took all of the air in the room with him. Shouts of "bring back Randy". Strange night.
