Transfer rumours thread

19 year old Anthony Dudley, a striker, the latest to be linked.

No rumour but I see a young attacking midfielder who plays for Oxford has just been called up to the Rep of Ireland squad. Callum O'Dowda is 21. When, I think, it wasn't until we were steamrolling our way at the top of the Championship table before Arter got a call up he must be an interesting prospect.

Another one to keep a close eye on - Rob Holding from Bolton, a 20 year old centre back who has just been named their player of the season - a typical Eddie type signing I would have thought.

He'll clearly be playing the holding role at the back......

Well if we are interested in him, he is going to cost !

Looks like he's definitely on the move somewhere as the Bolton manager was asked not to pick him by the board last week, according to link below.

However, that link also states Arsenal have bid £750k for him. Seems a little light even if the £10 million being bandied around was clearly ridiculous.

Bournemouth are lining up a bid in the summer for Wigan forward Will Grigg #WAFC #AFCB #Bournemouth #Latics #Wigan

Will Grigg is a prolific League 1 striker.

We are a Premier League team.

I'm sure we can aim higher than Will Grigg.

Wasn't Callum Wilson a prolific league one striker

@tayrumours #afcb looking to replace Matt Ritchie- a move for Jerome Sinclair is in the pipeline #yhihf

Lots of stuff circulating about Ritchie then.

Hope he doesn't go, would be a real shame.

Confirmed on Sky this morning that Sinclair is off to Watford this summer.

I wonder if Watford will pull a fast one and sign him with another club in their network so it's a Bosman with no development fee then send him 'on loan' to Watford only for him to sign on a free 12 months later?

I thought an imminent move to Watford must mean that we were almost nailed on to sign him

But he's on fire

There must be a reason why Brentford didn't want him after having a very successful season on loan at MK Dons.

He looks like a good player, but I think we should be going for players with top level experience.
