Watford v AFC Bournemouth

Happy with the point, but not happy with the performance. Admittedly difficult conditions but we didn't create a great deal going forward. In recent years we've been clinical on the counter away from home. Thinking back to this time last season - Brooks, Fraser, King, Wilson - we were tearing teams apart on the counter and we look a far cry from that team right now. Hopefully when Brooks is back we will get some creativity back. 8th in the league though so can't complain.

What, we haven't conceded in 2! And haven't scored in 3! This is not AFC Bournemouth. Were going to get turned over by Man Utd, not because they're good, but because were toothless and are the complete opposite to last season. Thought Harry Wilson was good today, and Wee man needs to lose some timber, i think. Again, teams are dominating that midfield, desperately need Lewis Cook alongside Lerma and Billing, with a front three of King, Wilson and Fraser. Can't wait until Watford go down. W@nkers!

You state they dominated midfield (which they didnt. They literally kicked long the whole match) and Neil Dawson gave you a thumbs up. At least we know how the MoM cliche report will go today :p

A few cretins on Twitter, having a meltdown because we didn't score and beat Norwich and Watford. Saying how 'worrying' it all is. Probably didn't look at the league table.

And yes.....on paper....shoulda coulda won both....last week very disappointing....but today is not to be sniffed at. 15 shots, 5 on target, not terrible for an away game. Its clear Foster made a couple of class saves - as he always does against us! - and we probably weren't clinical with a couple of others.

As others have said, Watford clearly decided to go down the cynical route that their fans usually accuse us of doing.....fouling us when we had a break for example.

Fingers crossed the players don't fear Man U next week, get on the front foot and get back among the goals.

They probably did look at the league table and see Watford and Norwich as they bottom two. Not sure celebrating two clean sheets against those two sides are worth a lot tbh

Watford drew away with Spurs last week and, according to some reports, were unlucky not to win. They also came very close to beating Arsenal.
The league table is not always a guide to current form.

No accept that but spurs have been playing like a bottom side lately and arsenal were cruising 2-0 at ht and thought game was won. For me this was another two points dropped and this team is underperforming

Good thing is our defence haven’t conceded in our last two games.

Our forwards seem out of sorts at the moment, but we know they will come good.

So if we keep on keeping it tight at the back and our forwards can snatch a goal or two we should keep a respectable position in the league.

Our next home game will probably give us some answers to the above.

Unfortunately Rashford seems to have got over his poor spell and could be a problem.

Ever so slightly underperforming perhaps....at the scoring end....defence is looking much improved on last season though....and points wise we are maybe a couple less on what we could have hoped for.

Are posters really contented with 2 points in the last 2 games ? 3 points in the last 4 .

Disappointed, but I'm sure it will come good again. Atm both King and Wilson seem out of form, maybe because Fraser is and they're not getting the supply like they did last season. I don't think you can really say anyone's playing particularly badly, it's more that key players aren't playing at their best.
