Without Lerma we could have been well beaten tbf.....quality.
 
Absolutely dullest match of the year ........... see that and you would know why North Americans cannot wrap their head around football's appeal. But, another point and still top 6, so the beat goes on.
 
Big build up, but as an AFCB fan thought the game was flat today and we were not at our best.

Hughes will be happier tonight than Eddie.

Lerma MOM from the sponsors, thought Ake was solid at the back again and kept clearing our lines.

Fraser don’t think was fully fit, not the usual Ryan we are used to seeing at DC.

Only for the Ted Mac of 1970’s today, not sure he would have missed the chances we did have.
 
Stokehampton were breaking up the play with "injuries" from the start and it was obvious that the plan was to break up play and hopefully nick one from a dead ball and we struggled against it, as we always seem to. Lerma, Cook, Ake were superb but Fraser and Brooks never got going. A point and a most forgettable game......






What game ?
 
Brooks never got going or King,maybe tired after internationals,Fraser also looked tired,dour game,free kicks all over the place.At least that twit Austin never scored.Thought Ake was good
 
Should really demolish Fulham, they look ripe for the taking, conceding 4 vs Cardiff ffs.

Today was poorish, but I would expect Fulham to try and give us a game.

Ake was good but also had a couple of tricky moments where he misjudged the ball badly from which they could/should have scored. The luck was with him on those occasions.

When he's good he's very, very good. However, those were both incidents that may put off watching scouts so, given they didn't score, maybe a good thing all told.
 
Hughes is very good at setting up to spoil games. The Fairies were only there to stop AFCB, not to win the game. Hope he gets a job in somewhere like Tajikistan soon.
