Spurs v AFC Bournemouth

I have not got it wrong nor it is an excuse. It is clear that you do not read my posts correctly. I do not wallow in our defeats, it makes me angry that we do not address the situation when the need arises i.e. we nees a centre back and a right back as a matter of urgency.
Oh dear... more lies from Minty the liar...:wagging:

I stated that we COULD be 5 points off of the bottom three. I did NOT say we WOULD be. And thank Christ we are not.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

It was still a prediction you were banging on about over several threads. It hardly takes a rocket scientist to predict losses to top six sides but it takes someone special to correctly predict the results of numerous other games. Something you failed at miserably.

You have made wrong predictions, predict losses against the big 6 and state the bleeding obvious

It's no big deal....missed chances early on..and then capitulation against a far more expensive and efficient outfit.....ok so the management have some challenges.
In the championship we lost 6-0 at Watford...and had bad runs!

I don't ever think Eddie will 'park the bus' so these results will occur now and again.....and so will the positives scorelines continue!

There is not much that can be done about bad luck either.....apart from EVERY fan willing it to change to good luck!

Accrington Stanley still have some fans from their pre-expulsion days in 1962!

Result-wise I agree, never expected anything from the game so we move on.

Performance-wise I don't agree. If that becomes an acceptable level of defensive effort and concentration then we will not be top half. We made it so easy for Spurs who weren't even that good today.

We weren't especially unlucky today, we were full of the generosity of Christmas and gifted goals to Spurs!

Very bizarre match. We let them score . But we had plenty of chances too. We looked ok until first lucky goal. Then got shaky. Then created chances in second half. They seemed to target Daniels with diagonal ball. Why didn’t Eddie see that?
It's always the wing backs or full backs that are deemed to be 'targeted' but the reality is that these top teams have real quality out wide and would target anybody playing there.....other than running on the pitch and nodding it clear what do you expect Eddie to do about it?

Certainly.
I have been saying for two years that we need another centre half and a right back but we failed to address either.

Two years? Well then there's clearly feck all point saying it on here or on the OHEC threads. If that's what you believe in that 'reality is realism' little world of yours then go and talk to Eddie...I think you'll find he's the one 'whom' decides which players are needed...

Phil Thompson said, post defeat, he "worries for Bournemouth". Didn't he say a few years back that our lack of transfer activity indicated that we had accepted our fate of relegation?

We played well at times today, as strange as that sounds given the scoreline. We just gifted them goals, we look a lot more comfortable with 3 at the back especially against the top teams.

The big thing is to get midfield players to track back. Seen it repeatedly against Man Utd, arsenal, Liverpool and today where Daniels and franno are exposed by full backs that aren’t marked. Daniels was poor today but surely questions need to be asked about midfield cover for him. As posted earlier, Wee Man seems absent. This may be deliberate tactics but is gifting too many soft goals.

Who are you going to congratulate for corrrectly predicting the outcome of the Liverpool, Wolves and Spurs games?

And there's the crux of why you're such an unlikeable creature. You appear to take pleasure in a Bournemouth defeat, you expect some form of congratulations for being a sad joyless man

I really hope this is merely an online "troll" persona, because otherwise I advise you to steer clear of human interaction, you're just not built for it, especially interacting with me

Whatever emotional lift you get when my (not your) football team lose, well that's a little personal high you can enjoy on your own, it really has no place on this forum. Go away, if someone came on here claiming to be a rival fan and revelled in Bournemouth defeats like you did they'd rightly be banned, this isn't the place for it. The delight you take in defeat, the faux superiority you take at the expense of others (call me a nobrain to my face), along with your complete lack of emotional investment in AFC Bournemouth lead me to think that there really is no place on this forum for you

I've tried to grant you every concession I can, but as I said a week or so back, I'm not qualified to deal with your damage. I'd feel sorry for you if you didn't constantly try to drag everyone down to your level. Stop posting, you contribute so little of worth to any discussion you're involved in, only acting to try and upset others having a discussion

Wrong I am very annoyed about it. But in fairness it was always going happen and it will again at Old Trafford. The axe of reality strikes again.

However, we have got away with it due to all of the bottom three all slipping up and so preserving our 14 point gap between us and them.

We've'got away with it because we have already got those points. We have won more games than the bottom three put together. The teams at the bottom will often 'slip up', that's why they are at the bottom.

The 'axe of reality' seems to be that we will lose to the top 5 or so. This is the case for most of the teams in the division.

I suspect we all realise that, so maybe it's just reality. You seem to say it as though you alone have seen this mythical axe. You are Thor the Thunder God and I claim my ten kroner note.
