Think Boruc is more likely to stay than Bego. Seems reasonably happy to sit on the bench and would imagine Begovic’s wages are a fair bit higher.

Not an ideal situation though at all
 
For me, Boruc all the way... He is far and away a better shot stopper than Begovic, is a calmer presence in the sticks, his distribution is more 'on point' when done quickly (excusing his kicking)... and he has a million times better rapport with the fans...

The one thing Begovic changed about his style v Burnely, was his speed in distribution, but that was the thing that continually let him down... It was almost like he felt he had to release it quickly, and frequently put out outfield players in difficult situations...

Begovic was dropped for poor perfomrances and his sts back this up. Boruc was dropped for seemingly nothing... Now Begovic is back in goal we lose 1-3 with him being again at fault for 2 goals...

Easy decision IMO.

Going forward I would sack Begovic off... Bring in Pope or Butland if possible as No.1 Let Boruc know he has to fight it out with Ramsdale for No.2 and he can make that decision then.
 
If Begovic is picked I think he has been given until the end of the season to try and prove he's worth his place next season.

If Boruc is back this weekend then I think it'll be goodbye Asmir this summer.
 
I think he'll be given one more chance; I wonder how the crowd would react if the next game was at home?

I hate having to listen to the jeering of our own players.
 
Asmir took some sh*t from a couple of fans, who were leaving the NS at the final whistle last week. I don't like to see that kind of confrontation myself, as it's not like he gave the goals away intentionally. It's up to EH to recognise ability, or lack of, and make the right decision for the team.

I'll still naturally support Asmir if he gets the thumbs up on Saturday... I just believe we'd be better with Boruc in sticks...

He's said that if he's not number 2 next season he wants to spend a year in the championship. Can't blame him, needs to progress, wants to grow. Really think he'll be a top keeper soon. Just need him to keep his goal kicks in the stadium. He's kicked a few clean out of Kingsmeadow this season
 
He dropped Boruc saying Begovic had been great in training. How good does Boruc have to be in training to get the same treatment?

It's a no brainer based on match form, it has to be Boruc. Begovic has been throwing it back to 2007 and it's simply too costly, especially against a Brighton side that won't let us create many chances.
