Good news. Bolton takeover.

I set my own bars.....precisely to stay happy....insurance!
The end of the Bond Era.....taught me the best way to be....the end of the Harry Era enforced it.....visualise the worst....then anything is endurable!

Ive tried the positive visualisation of Stadiums......!
Great way to look at it...Harry's era of membership schemes forced crowds down and cost us financially (suitcase anyone???).........lack of seats now has same restriction...only a matter of time

Not true. Stadium income has been dwarfed by tv money, and so actual attendances are no longer as significant.

High Court have given them 5 more weeks.

Interestingly, that is after the season ends.

I wonder, does that mean that, in the event of administration, they will get a points deduction next season?

Sounds like what has been going on at Bolton with their current owner is like AFCB on steroids.

It almost seems like he's wilfully trying to destroy them.

Given his record with us and previous history not sure Bassini is the answer to Bolton's problem.

Certainly wasn't fondly remembered at the Vic!

Take over hasn't been confirmed by the EFL which suggests there are issues despite Bolton saying it had been completed.

Do whatever needs to be done. Play your U23s U21s, but fulfil the fixture. As we know the EFL can be a very harsh mistress. I really fear for the future of what was a bedrock club in English football. Really sad to see.

I’m sure the U23s and U21s would be owed wages so they’d be on strike too. The oldest age group who don’t get paid is the U16s and making them play would be farcical

I know there will be a drive for all paid staff to strike, and be unified in doing so, but you would hope, for the sake of the club, they could muster say 15 registered players from any of their squads to stagger to seasons end. Repercussions of not fulfilling a couple of games are huge. They could easily slide 5 divisions. Remember Aldershot.

EFL said they should have played U 18 team but they had a game Thursday. They must now re-arrange it.
