Let’s step back a second and remember this is a report in The Sun regurgitated by the Ohec ...when we hear he’s signed a new contract then maybe there will be some idea of the sort of wedge he’s getting .

It's not that long ago Leicester won the league. I Can't see Everton or West Ham doing it in the next few years.

And, back on topic. Out of our current crop of players, Wilson will probably be the 1st to get 100k a week. Goalscorers generally get paid better.

I think the point is that we have a number of players who will feel they are worth this, if true amount....maybe Ryan does already,,,,the question is can we justify or sustain that sort of payment level if true for a number of players.
Please dont think I am for one moment suggesting we buckle and pay anyone what they believe they or their agents are worth.....Ryan spoke out I for one hope he finds what he is looking for, and I wish him all the best for the future, but it cannot be here cause we have made him our best offer.

I think in terms of the pecking order of highest earners it should be

Wilson
Fraser
Ake
Brooks

All three of those players are better than him imo. He certainly didn't get the 17 or so goals that King got the season before last, when he was playing half the season as a winger.
 
If they were both to leave (Fraser, Wilson), some club couldn’t do much better than taking both of them, as they are a good pairing on the pitch.
 
I know they didn't play in the second because they got reinstated but they were technically relegated
