I would let him go for 40m rather than pay him that. I don't see anyway we can pay him that sort of money and stop Ake, Fraser and King, who are all better players than him imo, asking for the same.
Like Leicester they think they're a far bigger and more important than they are, I recall the overseas money vote a couple of years ago. I understood Everton voting with the 'big six' but seeing Leicester and West Ham doing it made me laugh
It's not that long ago Leicester or West Ham got relegated
I think the point is that we have a number of players who will feel they are worth this, if true amount....maybe Ryan does already,,,,the question is can we justify or sustain that sort of payment level if true for a number of players.Yep Wilson barely scored any goals last season

Please dont think I am for one moment suggesting we buckle and pay anyone what they believe they or their agents are worth.....Ryan spoke out I for one hope he finds what he is looking for, and I wish him all the best for the future, but it cannot be here cause we have made him our best offer.
All three of those players are better than him imo. He certainly didn't get the 17 or so goals that King got the season before last, when he was playing half the season as a winger.Yep Wilson barely scored any goals last season

I like your style mate! This forum should be about opinions after allWe can agree to disagree then
Both Arsenal, pre WW1, and Everton in the 30's I think, have been relegated from the top division. They have both been relegated from the top division more times than us.
As has everyone bar Arsenal and Everton (I think)

1913. So I believe afcb are the only team never to be relegated from the top division
We can agree to disagree.....I think in terms of the pecking order of highest earners it should be
Wilson
Fraser
Ake
Brooks
