1) On their first goal, announcer says "he will probably try to score far post". If he can see it, why did we not have either Billing or S. Cook there for a possible stop?

2) Technical question .... Billing's first yellow gets him a one-game suspension. If he had taken a second yellow, does he get one game for the accumulation and a second one for the red?

That first half. OMG that first half. Hard to overstate how badly we played. We were utterly clueless. Without hope. That formation wouldn’t have scored if we had played 450 minutes. Somehow we got to HT only two down. Second half much better, credit to Lerma and Danjuma in particular. Callum had support. Fraser buzzed. Hope returned. An equaliser looked within reach but time ran out. Note fo Eddie: please play young Danjuma from the start next week. He’s really good.

What impressed me with Danjuma today was his turn of speed to beat two players.

This was a vast improvement from when I first saw him come on as a sub in a game when he obviously wasn’t fully match fit.

Not only has he a turn of speed, he has the skills to go with it.
 
Interesting that we rested Lerma first half if that was what it was, as Jimenez for Wolves had also been away with his team during the international break. Jimenez played the whole game and scored the second goal.

There was a lovely moment towards the end of the second half when he played the ball round one side of the full back and ran round the other, great pace, great potential. Would love to see more of him. Sort of player who gets the crowd off their feet.

Eddie picks the team unfortunately. could of sub him at half time if he thought he was tired.
 
I thought Danjuma was the bright spot of the afternoon, and re the negative comments about Lewis Cook, coming back from a very serious injury, and hasn’t had a decent run of games yet. IMO he did Ok today especially second half with Lerma....

I also mentioned this a couple of weeks back, the thing I notice week after week recently is how low on confidence our forwards seem to be.

Thought Lewis looked v good second half, much more aggressive, made a couple of crunching tackles, seemed fo have a bit of fire in his belly which was lacking first half. More of that please...

For Billing, a second yellow would have brought a one match ban anyway, and his bookings count would have remained at four.

Thanks for the explanation re Billing.

Re the goal, not sure that a well-position player would have saved it, but it is the second, maybe third time this year that we have been caught like that and it makes me wonder.
