Hi guys ............
The last few months have worn me out (can't imagine how you "legends" do it season by season), and I am going to take a month or so off from the Forum to recharge for the Championship.
However, I wanted to start a thread for those of us who hope to follow the team from a distance next season. Any ideas, tips, etc. will be welcome.
For Canada, best bet seems to be EFLiFollow.
https://www.efl.com/iFollow/
As best as I can tell, your team (i,e, AFCB) can opt in to participate. If so, you can buy a subscription which will give you most games live video (some restrictions apply) and all games audio. It looks like about half of this current Championship roster participate.
If AFCB does not opt in, it appears that you could still see some AFCB matches by paying a game-by-game match fee to join using a team that has opted in. So, for example, if Brentford has opted in and we are playing Brentford, you would pay to access Brentford's feed.
The team gets a percentage of the iFollow proceeds.
I have sent an email to enquiries@afcb.co.uk asking if they are considering participating in this platform.
Also in Canada, DAZN provides some Championship games. Looks like a small percentage to me, maybe 10% of games. I have written to them to ask for confirmation.
Now that it's said and done, I am looking forward to a new experience next year (for one, just learning where these various places are!). If I can get 65-75% of the games on authorized streams, I can make that work.
Cheers.
J.
PS - many thanks to @AFCBfan for pointing me in this direction some months ago
