Callum Wilson

Completely agree re King.

With Wilson, he is obviously going to look better in a side that creates more chances, as we did 18/19.

He then looks better with a 10 in behind him, otherwise he has to play the isolated lone role, which sees him prioritised with the physical battle with the centre backs, rather than using his pace and running.
I agree to an extent but how many glorious chances did Callum miss since lockdown?

I cant see why matt r would want to drop a division at this stage in his career? can't see it

He did it before but that was for the money...sorry prestige of playing for Newcastle...after he didn’t get his move for the money to West Ham...

If he’s not wanted at Newcastle and he gets the opportunity to play here. He still has property in the area I believe. I’m not saying it will happen but I don’t think it’s as far fetched as you think.

Cant see it but would be amazing

Funnily enough we were discussing strikers the other day, and Gayle was the guy I highlighted who always seems to scores 25 plus in the Championship.

Put him alongside SAS and that would be a strong frontline, especially with Danjuma, who could play across the line as well.

I mooted a swap with Gayle plus cash for Wilson last week as a seeming good option for everyone involved.

I'd be dubious that they would include Ritchie though since they gave him an extended contract to 2023 only in March.

I posted the same thing a while back too, Ritchie would just be a bonus imo.

Would be good but not realistic.
You Seem jolly and happy today Waz.
I expect you’ll feel betrayed again tomorrow if Wilson goes for just a straight cash deal.

I’d love that to happen but more likely Gayle plus cash. The only small hope we have is I have read and heard that Matt missed the South (for a Scotsman)
I think you are right , but if Matt is part of the deal we should take it. He still lives in the area. As for him not wanting to go back to the championship is what he did before so he could do it again. He is a good player with a voice to encourage the players on the field.
