Arnaut Danjuma

I really like Danjuma as a positive character - maybe stemming from his tough upbringing. Clearly last season wasn’t great - missed a lot of games plus form patchy when he did. Looks fitter now.
Agree he shows great attacking intent and very level headed. Yep he's certainly not had an easy life.

Given a good run of games this season I think he'll be another Dutch cracker.

Danjuma is the new Josh King....could really see him playing him upfront either as a 9 or a 10 ......would be extremely effective anywhere across a front 3........one of the few players we've signed that genuinely made me go Wow when we played Wolves at home this season.....came on when we were 2 down and with 10 men and completely ran the show ....seemed to have been given licence to roam anywhere in that second half by Eddie and i think that may be the key with him......no defensive responsibility whatsoever!......he's even more of a liability than Harry Wilson was tbh.

I hope he doesn't pass the ball back from the halfway line and injure one of our defenders in the process, or was that someone else?

I missed the Benfica game footage, what seems to have happened to Arnaut since last season where he was fairly anonymous when he played?

It was a Danjuma hospital ball back towards our defence that caused the chance that Ake injured himself blocking.

IIRC I don't think Danjuma played another minute after coming off in that match. Given how H Wilson was getting minutes it must have peed off Howe chronically.

I liked the fact that he said he even play in goal as long as he got a game. Seems a decent level-headed guy and I hope he really comes good for us and him.

I wish they wouldn’t build our players up before the nitty gritty of the real football starts.

Been articles about him in the Echo and the latest today is from JT.

Give the lad a chance to show what he can do week in and week out on the pitch and not put pressure on him before.

Some paras from story

BOSS Jason Tindall insisted there had been “no question” over the ability of winger Arnaut Danjuma and insisted: “I'd back him to go past anyone.”

But boss Tindall believes the 23-year-old could be a key threat as his side step up their preparations for their Championship campaign.

Tindall told afcbTV: “There's no question of Arnie's ability. Give Arnie the ball and I'd back him to go past anyone.
