Since then, we've gone from assuming fans would start going back through turnstiles very soon, to realising we not get fans back in before spring or so. That changes club's financial positions, and for example Preston might want that 5m a tad more now. Guesswork admittedly.
 
If I were Cook I'd not entertain the idea, if it's true.

A well paid career spent on the south coast, nothing left to prove.

He must be financially secure by now, so why would he feel the need to move north to play for a team that, just like us, gets battered by the top 6 week in week out and finishes the season without anything other than survival.

Cookie strikes me as someone who would be happy to stay at Bournemouth. Worthy of the captaincy, good wages and a great place to live. How anyone could entertain a move to Burnley is beyond me.

Plenty of nice areas to live in Lancashire and easily comfortable from much of the Yorkshire Dale's.
I realise it will come as a surprise to many of our fans that there are areas just as nice to live in as the Bournemouth area

He was linked with both Burnley and WBA in early 2015 when we were in the Championship.

Steve C decided to stay and get his club up into the Premier League.

Well we are again in the Championship and trying to get back up again, last time when those clubs were interested, at the end of that season we were promoted.

Maybe he will decide to stay and try and get us back up at the first attempt.
 
Why the feck would we give away our best defender for next to nothing whats going on the longer it goes on it looks more like JT was just given the job and told to do as hes told!!

This is a rumour, nothing more. I post them as I always like the transfer stuff (I know and accept many hate it) but the reality is there's little to nothing in the vast majority of them.

Otherwise Smith would be at West Ham. Lewis Cook would be at Leeds. David Brooks would be at Man Utd. Josh King would be at PSG. Begovic would be at AC Milan. Rico would be somewhere back in Spain. Billing would be at Fulham (I think it was). Gosling would be in Turkey. And probably some more that I've forgotten.
