Does sound like spin doesn't it ? Like Gosling wanting to stay and fight for his place but being told to go anyway. Now we have JK who just a day or so ago stated that he preferred to stay here and move for a free in the summer. And now he is out of the door too ?

I think the CLUB want him gone. Josh seemed prepared to stay and fulfil his contract.

Jesus, you're saying that after King has wanted away for months. You'll be believing Ramsdale knew nothing about his movie next.

On the same day that West Ham signed other options he said he was going to stay.

JT saying Josh's heart wasn't in it sounds like spin to me. The last I heard he was prepared to get his head down and commit to us for the rest of the season. This was literally one or two days ago. I couldn't fault his effort since he came back either, he just looked a bit rusty which was understandable.
Like with Gosling, the club pushing players out when they are prepared to stay doesn't sit right with me. Loyalty is a two way street. I don't like the vibe coming from the club at the moment.

Calvert-Lewin has had some great form but you’d back yourself for some regular football at a top club under one of the best managers around.

At 29, that’s an opportunity you’d be desperate to grab with both hands surely?

Of course they weren't. Footballers show zero loyalty. You think we should pay a footballer who we know won't play?
 
I can imagine 6 months in a swanky London pad might appeal to Josh as well, having already had a taste for the North West at Blackburn.

Perhaps there is now a plan in place to ruthlessly remove high earners from the squad to rebuild it with a more Championship level budget ( which might make sense in the medium term ). Just seems most unlike the AFCB of old at the moment.

Hilarious. The guy making out his dreams had been ruined and leaking stories about how he wanted to play in European competitions and so forth... and now it looks like he'll turn down a team that are likely to do just that in order to be in a relegation battle cos there's more money.

No problem with him taking the money. The utter nonsense he's been spouting for twelve months though... what a tw@.
