Next Manager Betting Odds

They won’t give huge odds on someone already there who has managerial experience.
hopefully the odds are too early to be a indication of who is going for it, he probably short odds as bookies think he will be interim manager which might see him through the 10 games needed for payout

Bizarrely Lampard is 3/1 to be next Bournemouth manager and 2/1 for Bournemouth to be his next managers job.

I think the odds differ because we could appoint Woodgate, and then sack him for Lampard, who hasn't taken a job in the inbetween. So it's possibly for Frank to not be Bournemouth's next manager, but it be his next job.

It's based on someone lasting 10 games. If Woodgate is appointed as caretaker manager and it takes 5 weeks to find the next manager, that's more or less the 10 matches. One's a cup tie, new manager bounce should keep him in place until the new Messiah's anointment. Can see why some are backing it : )

If its Woodgate....I might be wrong but wouldn't that mean a shift away from the attacking style we've had for most of the last 6 years....bearing in mind he was at Leeds and Middlesbrough....and England briefly ! ???
The questions are there and we will be asking them !

I think this coming appointment will expose if the club do really have any ambition or they are happy just to settle in the lower leagues. Let's wait and see.

Hope we get the most aggressively demented manager in football so that he makes the players lives a misery until the summer when we can clear the decks of 80% of them. Steve Cook and a few others can be let off the beastings on a Sunday in the rain.

If it’s Woodgate then i am just going to find the nearest bridge and call it a day

You were saying Tindallball was on a par with some of the least entertaining football we've ever seen under Jimmy Quinn. Surely from your perspective whoever comes in can only improve things from that rock bottom position?

Probably depends if Jimmy Quinn gets the job or not ;)

You didn’t read my post properly, this is getting quite tiring now.... I said that I’ve never felt as disillusioned watching a group of players since Jimmy Quinn, due to their mentality and work ethic. I wasn’t talking about the quality of football. Please read my posts properly if you’re going to claim that I’ve said something.
