Callum Wilson

Looks a different player expect it helps playing in a proper stadium with real staff around you not like the blood suckers we have at the club who couldnt give a toss until we hit the big time now its all falling down around our ears Blake buying Bentleys pmsl i honestly think Eddie saw what was going on and didnt like it and felt like he was losing control ..........

Just shows how toxic the dressing room at our club is. No player wants to be here and their performance shows. As soon as they leave they are back to their best.

Looks like it was a stupid idea to keep one half of the management duo that this attitude of the current crop of players festered under and believe things would somehow be different.
I'm all for having our own opinions.....but what a ridiculous post

F**k him.

Come on Waz, take a look around you.

You had your opinions and thoughts on the squad last season. Throw a bit of hindsight into the mix and it must be clearer now that the often targets of your perceived issues in Callum Wilson and Steve Cook were not the problems at all?

One has gone and back to his previous best, in a poor ish side, the other is pretty much the only player in the current afcb side playing with commitment and desire.

The problems you had may well be arguably justified, just blamed the wrong players.

Could it just be that Callum had got to the point where he wanted a change and because of that he lost a bit of focus for Bournemouth?
As with any relationship, when your hearts not in it, it satisfies no one.

For the majority of players playing for Bournemouth will not be the deemed the pinnacle of their career.

Well said. The off field staff have been a disgrace just as much as the players and none of them are qualified in the slightest. Just sucking away what's the left of the parachute payments.

So the drastic change in his performance is down to what then in your opinion?
I'm not sure what the problem is ......too many players having off days ? I'm not qualified to say.... but you made a statement that the dressing room is toxic..would you like to tell me/us how you know that..

I don't know that is as much you know that it isn't, I was merely suggesting that the turn around in his performance and the fact that many player having off days every week points to a toxic dressing room

So every team that goes through a bad run of results points to a toxic dressing room ?

According to the BBC match report for the first time Newcastle played in a 4-4-2 diamond formation with Wilson played more towards the right side.

A successful formation change coinciding with a the arrival of a new assistant coach-Graeme Jones?

The BBC also comment that Wilson wasn't so isolated as he has been in numerous previous games.
