QPR The Verdict.

That formation almost beggers belief ...how could anyone who watched the last 2 games where the only bright spark has been a really solid CB pairing of CCV and Kelly suddenly decide to go with a back 3!....and pack the midfield whilst leaving one of our most creative players on the bench until the 85th minute and playing the other one as fcking wing back!......Woodgate set us up not to lose too protect his bloody unbeaten record.....he can fck off as far as i'm concerned.

that back three worked a treat in the first half
"one of our most creative players" who's been utter gash for weeks

Same old performance promised much achieved little ,usual fragile effort punctuated by re occurring individual predictable errors ,no way are we good enough to even challenge for playoffs add in this managerial farce and there seems to be no answers or urgency as time just drifts on.
That infamous duo Blake and Hughes backed up by Mostyn have just demonstrated their total ineptitude at solving this problem

Utter gash for weeks you say hmmm.....let me see... Scored ...and got an asisst against Birmingham....didn't play against Burnley....so he's been gash for TWO games iyo.....i don't know what to say about your first point tbh ....'worked a treat in the first half'!.....that's the benchmark for success now is it?....not conceding in one half of football.

and before the birmingham game or do those games not count?
we were the better side in the first half and should have led, what game were you watching?

We lost today but it was easily one of our best performances this season, certainly in the league. I'd always take a loss like today over a win like we did against Rotherham.
Agree to a point. We had a game plan from the start and I like to see that. Didn't see enough of that from JT. Game plan had run its course after 50-60 mins. Its getting to that stage of the season where only results matter though. A draw would have been ok today if we could just keep it tight after scrapping the equaliser, given other scores. We're not hard nosed enough.

Well you chose not to take the Birmingham game into account or the fact that he was coming back from injury before that.......why dont you judge him over the course of the season?.....or do you only think short term?.....that would account for this we 'did aright in one half' rubbish i suppose.....what possible difference would that make?

Change of formation meant problems from the start.
Long was isolated and was never going to be able to hold the ball up and wait for...?
Stanislas not putting a shift in. Hasn't worked for the team for many matches.
Billing playing up top on the right looked okay because it meant he didn't have to do any of the midfield graft that he doesn't do anyway. When Surridge came on and Billing had to play deeper into midfield it allowed QPR to overrun us.
Danjuma came in and was a luxury player, no concept of the team or playing for others.
Wilshere needs quality around him and Lewis Cook huffs and puffs but isn't able to control games. Lerma has improved but needs others to make themselves available.
Mepham, enough said.

But the manager picked the formation, and this is what he is left with. I thought we played the Wednesday team with this match in mind. QPR had a tough midweek match but got stronger as their subs came on. Woodgate didn't do the same. Failed his audition.

Need to create a strong spine and let the Stans, Dans and Philips of the squad be left in the reserves until they show they are willing for the fight.

Agree regards Danjuma.

He just always look half arsed and can’t do such basic things, it’s shocking

are you drunk?

Groundhog day performance, seen it all to often in the last 2 years. So many cast changes and the script has become stale and predictable. 3rd director but the same repetitive show. : )

Making 2 good chances in the first hour, spurning them both, leaves us vulnerable to the defensive mistake we seem obliged to make. Suddenly a team content with 0-0 have a 1-0 lead and only 30 mins to stop us scoring 2 to win. We've got all the attacking talent but limited attacking intent. One of the most talented group of individuals I've seen wear a Cherries shirt, one of the most average and disappointing teams I've seen in Cherries shirts.

Couldn’t agree more Table

I've been quite open minded to the idea of JW getting the job, either permanently or to the end of season, but i think today showed he is not the person to take us forward. The football we play is so dull, boring and predictable, just as it was for much of JT and also EH last season.
I'm not sure where we go from here - I look at the names we have for this team, and indeed the squad, and think of the talent and potential it contains, yet every week when I think it will click and we will finally show up and batter the outstandingly average teams in this league, all we get is a bunch of arrogant and lazy individuals always ready to mess things up.
It sounds like Thierry Henry is gaining momentum as the choice for next manager. Whoever gets the job will get my support to make a success of our club, but we are not (potentially) signing TH to put the ball in the net, it will be to manage this group of underachieving individuals. I've seen nothing from his managerial career thus far to suggest he is capable of this.
I've got no idea of who actually makes the big decisions for this football club. Max is the owner/boss but does he delegate everything to the half-wits that lurk behind the scenes? I can't help thinking that the T Henry position is just a high profile opportunity for certain individuals to get some selfie pics, never mind if he is the right person to get us back on track.
I can't be bothered to say much on the game today. The continuous error strewn laziness from Mepham for the first goal just about sums this team up.
