AFC Bournemouth v Southampton- FA Cup Quarter-Final

Disappointing, to be sure. Was concerned about our depth today, but the back four .... yikes. RIdiCulOus, CrOOKed, SPACEY and SEE SEE Victory Denied.

Big opportunity to make history lost, would have been a good story to tell my pals over here and would have been just one win from the Final.

But, back to job 1 two weeks hence .........
 
....and we need the fans back soon, would have at least made the players realise how much it meant to us!
They have escaped the wrath that they would have deserved today!

As if the result wasn't depressing enough.

Anyone could have said that. And by anyone I mean a random person interviewed in the tea and coffee aisle in ASDA with a minimum of football knowledge who knew the result but had not watched the match.

Repetitive, full of truisms and clichés and inspired no confidence that we have the leadership required to get into the play-offs.
 
I don't like to single out players when they at least seem like decent people and try but wtf has happened to Rico? He's just not at the races at all. Feels like he'd struggle in League 1 and that's no exaggeration. Can't think of a single game he's had for us where I've thought he had the opposition winger in his back pocket. Granted he's not the most mobile but you can overcome that with a bit of vision but he seems so unaware of what's going on around him.

Fair to say that Howe’s inability to fill the boots of Daniels,Ritchie and Pugh caused the rot...along with losing the dedication of the jock rat!...Rico was a poor signing for 10 million and yes Kelly got injured before he could settle into the team... but the energy of Matt Ritchie we have missed so much and the ingenuity of Pugh too
