Scott Parker

I agree in that I think the whole Hughes to Fulham is bollox, as he'd be instrumental, alongside Blake, in getting Parker here.

Also, why is Eddie allegedly not willing to go 'anywhere' without Hughes...? If Hughes hates it here so much why doesn't he just quit...! Also, after the Celtic fiasco, do you not think Max would have had a word with Hughes and ask him about his level of commitment to this club...?

It's funny as I love Eddie and hope, some day, he steps back into DC as our manager, but this last 6 months or so, with all his 'No thanks' and his 'waiting for a PL job' talk, and his demands, he's starting to paint a picture of himself and what he wants, and it isn't all that positive...

Maybe the press that has come out recently of his time out and pulling out of certain jobs/being overlooked for certain jobs has made him think hard about needing to get back on that horse...
With a young family I’m sure EH doesn’t want to be away from his family . That really restricts where he can commute too .

Ok fair enough .
Ok Parker’s football night not be great but can’t be any worse than our last 6 months on the premier league
We still scored 40 goals tbf.....as bad as we were imagine only winning 5 games all season and scoring just 27 goals.

I think it's very important distinguish between what Eddie Howe has publicly said, i.e. bugger all and what hacks churning out click bait have said.

The issue I have with this is that we've been hearing for almost 2/3 weeks now that "the deal is almost done and we're in final stages of sorting comp out"... and "should hear by the end of the week".

I appreciate that there could be things that are more complexed than the black and white we see from afar... but c'mon... This has been almost more drawn out than 'Eddie to Celtic'... I just hope the end result isn't the same...
Maybe its to do with all are back room staff Parker has to take on and does not want

the latest is that Fulham are refusing to pay Parker any severance pay and that is holding up his mutual termination. I’m a bit confused, where does us paying compensation come into this if he is negotiating a mutual termination? The Fulham supporter on here is claiming that we are to pay 3 million in compensation, if that’s the case then why does Parker need to negotiate a termination? And why should he be payed any of the remainder of his Fulham job if he is leaving…
