He played okay but he also gave the ball away and got shoved off quite a few times. If he was MoM that's only due to lack of a stand out player in an overall good team performance.

To be fair to him, he wasn't getting enough support from others, so until he plays alongside Pearson or Lerma it's hard to get a fair read. For me, he has played one league game, done enough to retain his place and the right to develop in this division, but that's not the same as ripping it up. He's going to need to improve quickly when others become available.
 
I don't see the Kilkenny worship, he made 2 passes that Lerma makes all the time, is it because he's from youth team and bit more energetic? Thought Zemura was our best youngster.
 
if Danjuma’s on his way we urgently need a punchy forward. Surprised that SP didn’t bring on Saydee much earlier when it was clear Solanke was isolated and being hoofed by Bartley. We need some beef in midfield and upfront.

Solanke is very good defensively. So against the amount of long throws and corners , he was needed
 
No need to pull Solanke but to give him support. Saydee, though inexperienced, puts himself about. Has anyone said it yet? … we missed Sam S tonight!

That's the way we like it, a tight unit. We have at least got rid of nearly all the PL players who did nothing for this club. Lost a handful of our best ever players but that comes with the PL.

If Scotty P left a mega rich owner club Fulham just because he didn't get on with the board and wanted to work on a tight budget here like Eddie did to start with then fair play to him for taking that brave jump because he can't be on anymore money and we don't have the current ambitions of Fulham.

Still think we'll get few more loans and the wage bill has probably gone down 70% since our last game at Everton in PL. I imagine Max is taking back all his money on transfer fees and parachutes which is sensible when the 100m guarantee a year has gone. Since we got relegated the only fee we paid was about 300k for Pearson and we sold over £100m worth of players on Ake, Wilson, Rambo, Rico, Surridge, Gosling so that added with the wage bill reduced and parachutes he's prob got back over half his deficit and is using a portion to run the club on current wages, but if he can link us up with a trusted connection, an investor like Roman who doesn't care about losing money to start with and has a vision that I can see then they would be welcome.

Were you at the game? He was composed on the ball, made some excellent interceptions, some fantastic passes and was all over the pitch, for a full league debut people can be pleased for him.
 
For all the deserved plaudits for the youngsters last night, I don’t think it’s fair or right that we should be relying on them if we are going for a promotion push.

I think we still need at least a goalkeeper, central defender, attacking wide man and a striker.
 
The sooner Danjuma is sold the better. No good flogging him on transfer deadline day at 10:59pm.

It seems there is nothing to spend unless he is sold.

No insider knowledge here. But think we'll spend money, just not loads. Most our deals will be 'loan to buy' just gotta wait for danjuma to leave.

If we sign no one else the squad is better than most in champ. Bench was weak last night but add lerma, Pearson, both cooks, Pearson, Davis Stan etc then suddenly looks rather decent! That’s ignoring danjuma.

just weak in a couple of positions esp goalkeeper, right side of defence and upfront
