General sale tickets

Don’t forget as well that the club are not issuing new season tickets, so there will be more match tickets available. How many extra is a completely different question

A small number of family tickets in the Family Stand are still available for the latter fixture, which can be purchased over the phone or in person with the AFC Bournemouth ticketing team.
First time in a long time that there are no returned tickets available. And I highly doubt it’s because there are no returns, in fact you’d expect returns to be particularly high this time.

Can only assume they’re not issuing returned tickets in an effort to ensure attendance is below the 10k mark so they can continue without the COVID protocols required for 10k+ attendances. Seems a bit backward to me….

Personally, can’t blame them. Avoid all of the faff of checking the covid passes, get everyone in to the ground much quicker with less hassle.

Thought it would have been better for the Championship to have this at every club.

Showing your pass on phone or paperwork is surely no different to showing ST or ticket.

How has it worked on away games, hold ups or just like the normal checks?

I was told it was exactly that when I phoned up looking for tickets. Sadly I feel there will be lots of Cardiff fans there and less Bournemouth than there should be. Luckily I’ve got mine ready!

They didn't bother to check me at qpr.

Think the covid checks/requirements for games with >10k attendance end today so no problem if we go above this threshold now

Perhaps the club aren't worried about slightly breaching the regulation as it's going to be abolished next week anyway?

Would imagine the returned tickets were for their policy of 9,999.

Can’t see our club breaking the law for a few tickets above that.

Setting out plans to lift the "Plan B" measures which were put in place to tackle the rise of Omicron, Boris Johnson told MPs that Covid certification would no longer be compulsory from Thursday 27 January.
