AFCB Bournemouth v Bristol City - 10 Games To Go

Not sure about "must win" but three points would be very helpful.

Some of the chasers have banana-peel games tomorrow ...

Luton home to Millwall
SUFC at Stoke
Blackburn at Coventry
Forest at Blackpool.

Bound to be some points dropped in that lot.

And. dare we consider Fulham at QPR?

That’s because on their travels, Bristol City have now lost ten of their last 13 league outings (W1, D2), conceding an eye-watering 2.54 goals per match on average during that period!
A nailed on 0-0 then.
Seriously, I think we'll win by 3-0 or more.

Very true .... but it's like the anticipation of your next round of golf. It will be what it will be, but we still think about what could happen. Break 80? Hole in one? Toss my seven iron up into a tree? Que sera sera.

That's a good point. If we were playing any of those teams I'd be thinking it was a tough game.

Peterborough lost their last 18 away games before we played them, conceding an average of about 145 goals a game. Not sure how you can be so confident. They will set up with a back three/five and look to shut up shop. We have demonstrated time and time again that under Parker we have no answer to this. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if we lose this one nil.

Another positive day in the waz house.

My confidence comes from the fact that we are a much better team than them.

I'm confident before every game. You always bring me back to reality though.

Given his batting average, not sure "reality" is the right word.

A little country for you ....... "All you ever do is bring me down" by the Mavericks featuring Flaco Jiminez ...

Done my wallchart in the Putin-the-boot-in magazine, completely different draw. I've got U.S.S.R. winning 12-1 against a "Survivors XI". Apparently the guy that scores the Survivors goal, found out he had a long lost Russian grandparent at half time and scores a second half hat trick for the U.S.S.R. : )

All hail Vladdy the Daddy : )

Edited to add, Oooops wrong thread : )

We have better players than them no doubt. We have better players than Peterborough, Preston and Boreham Wood too though. All three played with a back 5 and we looked pretty incapable of threatening their goal.

Going back to Peterborough - we did threaten them and missed a hatful of great chances. Finishing was awful. That isn’t the same as a deep defence preventing chances. Same for second half vs boreham wood - even solanke had two decent chances but missed.

How quickly the sins of the past get forgotten! In the 2nd half vs Peterborough we were a disgrace except one moment of brilliance from Christie. 2 shots on target all game, we were turgid.

We've kicked on since then. Hudders was a massive step up, so hopefully that continues, but Waz stating that just because we are a better team doesn't mean we won't struggle is hardly ridiculous given past evidence.
