Non - Boris Johnson

Still worrying about the forum?

No not at all..just commenting...
I've got nothing to lose as a mere ' Boomer' brought up initially on rations for 4 years ..
..and later to endure elitist w@nkers on this Forum responding to my early posts with " Nurse Nurse ...have you given him his tablets" ...whatever the content of the posts.

Hard to imagine a worse government than Johnson should. Guess we'll just have to wait.

I hear that buffering Truss is on the way back to pitch rather than work with other countries against Putin. Priorities eh?

I think both Boris Johnson and Guy Verhofstadt are clowns so using your logic should I have spoilt my ballot? Do you think everyone on your side of every argument is a stand-up guy/girl talking complete sense?

Yes I did, probably because I was making a point about the goings-on in French politics and how they show that our ****************-show is not that different from theirs. Not sure why you brought up energy policies, which isn't really something that the makes the UK a laughing stock one way or another is it?
You do get a little carried away! The answer to your first question is no.

Unless I'm mistaken energy policies are part of the goings on in French politics, so I thought I'd bring it up. As far as I know Macron hasn't had a blow job in the French workplace, he hasn't (yet) been found guilty of having loads of parties while telling others to stay home. The list of differences is quite palpable.

still worrying about this forum then!

We need an Emergency Coalition...ordered by QE2.
..because if its deemed that the Conservative Party ..and potentially as observed, the weakly assembled Labour Party are unfit for Office...then the bloody Chaos will continue with 'musical chair' appointments to Cabinet positions...whichever one is given a mandate.
We need the most 'capable' and ' insightful'. brains from across the spectrum...Party Politics in my opinion is virtually finished as a viable entity...that's been borne out/ proven by the latter half of the Blair. / Brown period and almost All of this Tory administration. Outdated and weary institutions.

My point is, I didn't base my referendum vote on what clowns like Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson or Guy Verhofstadt were saying.

Energy policies aren't generally something that causes a country to be an international laughing-stock and I doubt Al was referring to our energy policies when he made the comment I was replying to.

Are you suggesting you wouldn't get a workplace blowjob or extra-marital affairs in French politics? Well that's quite clearly b*llocks isn't it.

I dont work in French politics.

Press exaggerations? FFS Brian give the common populace a bit more credit than that and stop defending the indefensible.

Sorry if what I write appears flippant or inaccurate to any degree....but when we analyse independantly in our own homes with the aid of the news and newspapers on the table....we are all free to either defend or not defend ..choose what is or what is not defensible...by individual detailing.of such...a bit like singling out and attacking the ' post not the poster'.
'Sitting on the Fence' politically is the best place to be in this chaotic and fast paced time on the Planet.. ..adhering too close to any beliefs/doctrines or political people is not particularly safe, sensible or rewarding .

Not convinced it will go down well on here... But I actually think it's quite sad that Boris' tenure is coming to an end like this... For me (and I appreciate he is not everyone's bag) he hasn't done a bad job of dealing with Trump and China, Brexit, Covid and now the Ukraine... The alternative would have done a lot worse a job...

His undoing has been partygate... However, the media have been like a dog with a bone with Boris, and sadly he has made it all too easy for them...

I do think for the good of everything and everyone, he needs to resign to simply put this debacle to bed and we can all move on... But, I would have rather seen his time in Parliament come to a natural end as opposed to being forced out...

:throw:
I'm not wanting to start another argument but I would genuinely like to know how you think Johnson 'dealt with Trump'?

Brexit has turned into an utter shambles with Johnson's government reneging on the NI deal that they themselves negotiated.

We had one of the worst death rates from COVID in the western world.

And he's given all our reserve stocks of NLAWS to Ukraine without a plan to pay for it.

His time in office has been marked by continually broken promises (40 new hospitals, oven-ready Brexit deal, oven-ready social care plan)

Cronyism (appointing mates to top jobs, giving people gongs that shouldn't have them)

Blatant profiteering (£37bn on T&T, overpriced costs for PPE that didn't work)

Ill-thought out PR spin to use as dead cats (going back to imperial measures, Peppa Pig world, bridge over the Irish sea)

And the one that finally got him, tolerating disgusting behaviour (Priti Patel bullying, Owen Patterson grifting, Barnard Castle).

So with all of that in mind, and with the fact that his management style has been described as being like a shopping trolley with a wonky wheel you still feel that Sir Kier Starmer would do a worse job?

Nobody is singling anyone out.

You make a specific claim like 'press exaggerations' as a reason for Johnson going then it is legitimate for people to ask you what you mean.

World leaders and bureaucrats have started to gloat at the demise of Boris Johnson, with the Kremlin declaring today: 'He doesn't like us, we don't like him either.'

The prime minister, who announced his resignation this afternoon, has made a number of enemies during his time in government, especially in the EU as a leading Brexiteer and in Russia due to his staunch support for Ukraine.

Keep posting the Daily Mail Billy, really helping your argument.

So far you have felt sorry for him and believed that Putin would be pleased to see him gone. I am assuming you get a physical copy delivered every morning?

Actually as of 22nd June 2022 the UK are the 14th worst in Europe with 2.634 deaths per million population

Incidentally, he hasn't actually said that he has resigned, just that he intends to submit a letter.

Given his team's penchant for semantics (no specific allegations, unaware of any rules broken) could we be seeing a different way of attempting to hang on to power?

Feel sorry for him?

Putin will be pleased to see him gone.

As for BJ his time and luck had run out.
