Who said?Interesting that we are willing to spend £12M on yet another midfielder but don't seem to want to spend on CB - a position we are well short in at the moment.
Agreed proves we have funds to buy playersWho said?
I think the Blades fans I know are more annoyed about McBurnie than Brewster. £18 million club record signing and 7 goals in 87 games. They are saying Brewster is showing promise - he could be their Solanke.
FWIW, they all think Mousset was a bad signing.
The front three of Mousset, McBurnie and Brewster certainly didn't offer value for money and Wilder should take the blame
Great signing from what I’ve heard. Exactly the type of player we should be targeting. If it comes off then we have made 2 very good signings this summer, both central midfielders. We obviously still lack centre backs and could badly do with more attacking flair. We are quite a way off still but at least this is something to get excited about.
we are going to piss the champo the season after next!
Can’t force a player to sign a contract. At least it seems that Solanke, Billing and Kelly all have 2 years left so will be able to generate some spending money while slashing the wage bill if we go back down. Worth remembering that we could receive fees for Anthony and Zemura too as they are under 23.Lot of free agents and last year contracts will go no doubt. I am cool with that as long as we give it a good go this season but would prefer we tie down players to get the benefit of their efforts in champ or get a good fee if they leave
Rothwell and Tavernier is a hell of a midfield for that levelwe are going to piss the champo the season after next!
I don’t think any of us were worried about midfield. Tavernier a wing back though for us I feelIf we get junior & brooks back, there's a pretty healthy choice in midfield
And he's not just a midfielder.Who said?
Well positive for me is there must be funds for a Cb or 2I don’t think any of us were worried about midfield. Tavernier a wing back though for us I feel
