Scott Parker

Oddly proud of the club, as harsh as that might sound. I’ve never seen a manager completely trash his own players like that in such an unprofessional way. Obviously if the board are as clueless as has been made out then this might be a car crash waiting to happen, and maybe Parker had reasons to be upset. But I did a huge 180 on him as a person and I’m quite proud that the club have stuck up for the players and the principles of the club so viciously.

I'm exactly the same, in fact I couldn't believe how quickly my opinion on him changed this season. I defended him against all the criticism last year but I'm pleased they've got rid.

Normally I would too but his most recent comments made me lose all respect for the man.
To get to that age and be in this profession and yet take next to no personal responsibility for what just happened, is frankly embarrassing. It was his job to take responsibility for our performances at the very least.
Very brave decision by Max and I feel that it will prove to be the right one. We might get relegated anyway but now at least I expect us to develop a siege mentality and unite in giving it a proper go.
I would be quite happy with an internal appointment personally, someone who “gets” the football club.

This echo's my thoughts exactly. He lacked professionalism and leadership at the time when he should have shielded the players not thrown them under a bus.

would love Cooper to step up

Attitude counts for everything in this game, especially when you're up against it, as this club are. Get rid and resolve before it gets worst and the rot really sets in.

Bold move , but it's been obvious for some time that he's fallen out with the board .
Appointed for the reason to get us up He did .. never a long term person for the Job in my eyes .Shame in ways , but he has history of this with Fulham and the board .
Next appointment I feel needs to be vastly experienced at top two league level .

Bloody hell. I’m probably alone but I have some sympathy for Parker.

I have sympathy for him as he is not wrong in his comments and getting us up was a brilliant achievement. Not the shoo-in that some think it was.

However you can’t have a manager run down his own team after every match and criticise board strategy. Something had to change.

I am excited by cooper Tommy and O’Neill tbh

Same; I was also a pretty staunch supporter of his last season. It’s a massive shame how it’s turned out, I was still on board with the tactics on paper too, but I think the atmosphere would’ve been unbelievably toxic Wednesday. You can tell this wasn’t a “player power” situation either, straight from Max, and I really believe the players have been trying, it’s not like they’ve downed tools. If anyone has it’s Parker.
