Bill Foley

This Tyler Adams then....I assume he will trot out at DC sometime this year or next..
...he made 24 appearances for Leeds last season....they were relegated and he scored no goals....and we have some of those already...midfielders who don't score at this level.

He has figured in the USA national team....that means jacksh*t in my book ..but hey....it seems to fuel Bills enthusiasm for him.

Little Leeds..and USA..

But ...we will see....WHEN he PLAYS !

Sorry dudes.. but things need to be said !

Which things haven't happened?

Owning a club in Belgium, pre match skits for the pre entertainment, concerts outside the ground off the top of my head.

Interesting that they stopped the fund raising at $200+ million and said they had the money in place for the training ground, two transfer windows and the stadium.

Ah okay I was interpretating your post to be saying he's made statements that were proven over time false rather than mentioned things that didn't come to fruition.

The entertainment thing I didn't see in the article or remember reading but yeah I guess the only thing close to that is the boxing match.

Yeah, agreed regarding the funding, I'd assumed it was external funding in addition to Foley's contribution.

Amusing that it's a given you're spending $600/700M on a stadium in the states but cmsomething like Oxford's new ground being £100M with 18k seats with 200 bed hotel, gym etc being something they need to sweat over.

Foley added: “First I listened to Richard Hughes and to Simon Francis, one of his top assistants.

“They were intrigued by Andoni. They convinced Neill Blake that this was a move that we have a chance to do, we have a chance to make and if we don’t make this move, we’re going to regret it in the future.

“That’s really all they had to tell me.

“I did a little research on Andoni and I was satisfied that he would be an agent of change and that’s what I always look for, how can we change, be more effective and constantly improve.

“I believe he’s going to do it.

“People say you may have made a mistake. I said, if I’ve made a mistake, it’s on me, I’ll take responsibility, because I was involved in the decision-making process.”

This is from a few months back so it makes you wonder why the echo have printed it now. It could just be because it's O'Neil's first time back at DC since getting sacked or perhaps it's because someone has reiterated it to the journos to distance themselves from what could look more like a major error come Saturday evening.

Nothing to do with this…. More about player recruitment but I think Hughes and Blake need replacing.
We look way behind the likes of Brighton,Brentford and Fulham in terms of who we get in?
Fulham, really? Raul jiminez to replace mitrovic!

They came up with us not able to beat us. Performing far better and havent spent what we have recently. Better recruiters and better coach appointments.

Their recruitment has been hit and miss like everyone else. What they've had is the same manager and owner throughout that period.
