8m people before you get to the satellite towns though. We need to fill a new stadium.

I was thinking more as we move to having a better academy then kids coming through are more interested in the PL club.

Maybe I’m just too proud of our status as the sole Premier League club for the area and it doesn’t matter. I personally wouldn’t help them an inch though!
 
Sound move IMO not sure that Rothwell is good enough at PL level and we have plenty of cover across midfield.
Marcondes and Kilkenny should be given a chance to leave for them to play too?
With Traore off the books too we can slim down our bulging squad.
I hope Hill gets a chance with us in the remaining part of this season as he has potential.
If Moore, Brooks and/or Mepham go we may need to dip in the pot?
Looks like Kelly and Solanke will see out the season until the summer so I’m not too worried with Adams coming back soon hopefully

We need to sign a young forward with chance to step up, if solanke goes there's no back up. Obviously won't be cheap.
Can't see mepham going, we are one injury away from him playing, although not sure adoni rates him.
Moore has scored when he's played, so without a replacement can't see him going either.
For Brooks the issue is the African nations with no Semenyo, then would be a risk too, to let him go

Good shout. Can still live here, and get exposure in high confidence, strong team.

Very odd situation almost now. A lot of potential, but he's moving into mid twenties.

Clearly has something about him, but surely 1st team pro football necessity for him.

I'm not one of kilkenny circle jerk clan on here, who were demanding he plated all the time few years ago. But he does have something special about him.

Woukdbt surprise me if he left in summer for lower champ side, then ended up pl after finalky blossoming from regular football.

Not sure he'll be good enough for us sadly now, on current trajectory of club, but I'd like ti see us retain him, and couple of season long loans just to be sure, rather than cut him loose prematurely.

Perhaps AI assessed and felt nearly ready for pl football .... unlikely but could be reason not loaned in summer. Perhaps he'll move up pecking order if Rothwell leaves.

IIRC didn't they screw us over the Lallana ongoing transfer percentage, because essentially it was written on the back of a fag packet and we were forced to settle for a lot less than we thought that we were entitled to because we didn't have a pot to piss in?

If you want to ignore a signing on fee that is always bigger with a free, all his wages for 18 months and the fact we don’t know if we are getting a loan fee….. yes.
