Didn’t play well. Forest were intent on cheating a weak ref. At one point Awonyi went up for a header, screamed, grabbed if face, in at attempt to get one o& our boys sent off. She didn’t fall for it but also did t book him for simulation, or as I call it, out and out cheating.
Yates is the new James Milner, being allowed to foul, moan and get in the refs ear with impunity, until he tried to amputate somebody’s leg.
kliuvert could easily have gone, booked for asking for a card, ironically saved a card by them asking for one.
Against QPR this ref did ok but today ws the complete opposite. The AR’s didn’t help much.
End of the first half, attacking corner for Forest, she let it be taken. End of the match, attacking corner for us and she blows up. Don’t mind which but please be consistent.
Billing’s red, seen in slow mo is understandable but nobody seeming wants to mention that they guy wouldn’t have broken free if Alex Scott was prepared to make a tackle instead of waving a foot in the general direction of the ball. I know he is highly skilful, I know he is young but surely playing mens football from the age of 16, especially at step 4, will teach you that you have to be strong to win a ball.
A thoroughly frustrating afternoon, we’d have lost that last year so I’ll take one more point towards safety. TBF, even with a man advantage Forest seemed more keen on holding on to a point than winning.
