Tyler Adams

I met a couple of Leeds fans 2 months ago at Heathrow AirPort, not “teenagers” , buisness men going to a conference, I happened to be wearing my AFCB Jacket. They started up a conversation about Tyler Adams and Louis Sinistera, saying how lucky we were to have them. They were really gutted to see them go ,but understood that they both should be in the Premier League. They were very complimentary about the two, and highly rated them both, and were looking forward to seeing them play for us!
Along similar lines, I was reading this from Kaiser Chief's Simon Rix:

"I am going for heart over head here. For starters, Leeds fans dislike Bournemouth at the moment because they have been nicking our players - Tyler Adams and Luis Sinisterra have both gone there recently. It used to be Norwich who did that but now it's Bournemouth - it's fine if it's Manchester City or Liverpool taking your players but it's not so good when it's teams you think you should be beating. And I'd also like Leicester to stay in the FA Cup as long as possible, to keep them distracted from their promotion bid. 1-2"

Think Luis Sinisterra wanted to leave Leeds United, hence us signing him.

No signing takes place unless the player agrees terms with the destination club.

I think it was a hallmark of the sides that went down last season that they went all-in on building teams of incredible young talents and it wasn't a season where sides noticeably fell adrift.

It's looking very likely at least two of the three will be promoted which I think will make next season a lot harder then this one.

Translation: We have a large fanbase because we won some trophies in the 70s. We can't handle that success is earned by being good at football and winning matches instead of who has the most fans.

They're 2 genuine PL level players IMO. Capable of the playing for top half clubs.

So very much the level we're looking to achieve in the coming seasons.

Going to be difficult for him to become a first team regular this season while Cook is fit.....nice to have him on the bench though.

Will take him a bit of time to get up to full match fitness, so playing for our Development squad will be best for now.

Need all our players 100% match fit for the last run of games and not carry any passengers.

Exactly this. Will likely be a much tougher next season, assuming sides going down, coming up are swapping back to last years format.

No doubt we'll make further additions in the summer, but could likely lose Dom...

This will the current owner/management set up's biggest challenge... Dom seems a sensible lad, is settled here and is almost the first name on Iraola's team sheet. He has it made under Iraola here... Even Pep commented that this set up seemed made for Dom... Will he be as prolific at other clubs and will their set up suit Dom...? Who knows...

I guess if Dom gets a call-up this summer (which amazingly I still can't see happening) then he might want to be plying his trade at a more established PL club, but that pool of clubs is very small. Will he gamble his next contract on being a bench warmer in a top 6/7 club, or maybe opt for a Fulham/WHU/Palace type club that are obviously bigger than us, but almost just as likely to flirt with the bottom reaches of the PL as we are...

If Dom shows any signs of being happy to continue here, I'd be extending his contract again and offering him whatever he needs...

Christie and/or Cook will at some point get a knock or suspended. It’s strength in depth we need and if he can play full back it’s a double bonus. He will get games if fit for sure.

And we can start selling those shirts in Wyoming which some on here were stacking the deal up in so triple bonus… ;)

I think that's probably whats most likely to happen chief.

Start on bench, makea few sub appearances to get up to speed.

Will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Cook may even raise game further, ala Daniels and others...

As mentioned back along, turns out Adams started his career at right back, so a wild card option we may even see him there... football manager has him as 'accomplisged' RB, so woukdbt be strangest thing in world, if Aarons unavailable.

Guess depends if Adams doesn't really consider himself a RB anymore and purely wants to play cdm or even Christie cm role.
If memory serves, he often played on the left side for Leipzig, though I think in midfield rather than left back. I think he is capable of slotting in almost wherever he's needed. He is a fine player and a young man of good character.

Need to sign a Chinese player if we want to sell shirts in big numbers.

Why are Fulum. W Ham and C Palarse bigger than us. Don't mention the ground as an excuse

Does anyone know if Tyler got a run out today in the Development squad game v Colchester United?

I'm assuming he did because the game was pulled from the New Cuthbury Wimborne under a cloak of secrecy and billed as being played behind closed doors but that turned out to be Ringwood Town's ground.

We won 5,-0 but there are no details anywhere of our team who played!
