Gary O'Neil

For someone that claims to love the Bantz you don’t half spend a lot of time having these temper tantrums about it .
Look I know your having a bad day throwing away two goals in injury time so I’ll just put it down to that .
Bournemouths possible best ever victory.. at Wolves in 57 in the FA Cup . ..has always instilled in me a strange affection for Wolves...f√ck-all to do with O'Neil.
I've never doubted Andoni's calibre as a manager..he is brilliant.. I've only ever said about Gary being dismissed too early and unfairly..just an opinion.
If you think I get in tantrums....tell you what ..out of a friendly gesture...you have the last word....write something metaphorically nasty.. representative of Evil even....anything you like...and I won't retaliate.

Never mind Brian.....Man Utd are playing later.

:loser: Can anybody see my skill at handling the more choleric banter....?
It should serve as a lesson to younger members ..build up a bank of adaptable answers and develop a state of readiness.
Doesn't always work mind ...if you've been on the sauce..can get chaotic ! :giggle:

Well clearly as he is the owner. But he wouldn’t have heard of Iraola if they hadn’t come and said they wanted to bring him in.

Interestingly, I think when Bill said these things, we were going through a bad patch, and people were questioning the appointment. I interpreted Bill's words at the time as deflecting wrong decision blame onto others. From what we know if Bill and from what he's said about himself, he's a control freak. He will have listened to others' advice, but ultimately, it's Bill who will have made the decision.

I wonder how the Sun managed to persuade an AI (yeah right) search engine to rank the 20?

I still can't rate the Premier League managers on handsomeness for a few reasons:

  1. Standard Norms are Subjective: There isn't a single, universally agreed-upon standard for attractiveness. What's considered handsome can vary based on culture, background, and personal preferences.
  2. Limited Information Access: I can't access and analyze facial features directly to apply a standardized system. My knowledge relies on text and code, not visual data.
  3. Ethical Concerns: Focusing solely on physical appearance can be objectifying and diminishes the managers' professional achievements.

Who knows… I think the point is without them bringing Iraola to the desk he would never have heard about him. I also don’t think he is the type of bloke to deflect blame onto others he seems decent.

Anyway, thank god they finally made the appt to replace Eddie they had four goes at…

I'd be surprised if BF made the decision on the manager(s).

All businesses have a hierarchy and whilst it's not unusual for a CEO to want to interview somebody more than rung below, for the CEO to appoint somebody more than one rung below them is basically saying that CEO has no faith in the direct reports.

If GON - and his predecessors and successor - report[ed] to Blake or Hughes, then it would be reasonable to expect the decision on the football manager/coach to be made by their immediate line manager.

Haha that definitely sounds like a 'woke' ai statement.

Personally, I can't wait until their next manager ranking: 'PL Managers ranked by penis size'.
