Richard Hughes

As both of them are worth more than that you’d be happy wouldn’t you?
Possibly, but neither of them are better than martinez
So you'd be happy to let the better keeper go and spend 50-60m on 2 others who are worse?
Do you think anyone will pay 30m for ramsdale?

I’ve had a bet that if we don’t win tomorrow that you will in some way use it to make an argument that our recruitment has been poor. I’ve also had a bet that your deranged alcoholic buddy will get pissed and call me a cnut at least once. I think that both will be winners this time around.
Cnut.

Thought I'd get in early and help you win the first bet of your life.

Everyone likes to help a loser with a leg up.

The Championship signings that got us into the PL, do we care if we don’t sell for a profit? Surely the reason they were signed was to get us the PL prize money so job done, leave on a free or a small fee. Who cares?
They do sign contracts you know.

Agents fees also are extremely hefty.

It's not so much the fee, it's the obligation to continue paying them ridiculous money for the length of the contract and then no other club outside of the PL being able to afford them.

See Jamal Lowe at Swansea.

They want to keep him, but can't afford his wages.

Think his contract is up in summer. So he may have to take a cut, unless clubs at that level feel he's worth 20-25k a week... which is what I think he's on, roughly.

£12k a week according to sportrac.

He is indeed out of contract in the summer.

But the club got to the PL off the back of those signings and now has a new billionaire owner who is spanking the cash, whilst apparently balancing the books... So... Who cares?

So from what you have said it looks like Liverpool have got it all wrong in appointing him then?
Yeah I reckon so...watch em go downhill next season !
I say what I think..and I get a lot of stuff right..not always but mostly...I've been around a long time and seen a lot of sh*t going down...I don't walk ..I roll.....

And today I hear you ask?!

1st goal scored by Senesi (Richard Hughes signing) and assisted by Unal (Richard Hughes signing.)

2nd goal scored by Unal and assisted by Dango (Richard Hughes signing.)

3rd goal scored by Kluivert (Richard Hughes signing) and assisted by Christie (Richard Hughes signing.)

Senesi- £13m
Kluivert- £8.5m
Unal- (to be) £12m
Christie- £1.5m
Dango- £20m (inflated due to January window and situation surrounding Foley and Lorient)

Semenyo
(£10m) has arguably been the best of the lot, let’s hope his injury isn’t as bad as feared.

Some astonishing value there, I really hope that Francis has picked up enough knowledge from Hughes because he will clearly be a huge loss to us.

Neil is almost certainly not wrong about Hughes.

This will 'come to light' ..as we shift through time.....
...many ex- players don't actually know wtf they are doing for the greater part....and are getting paid vast sums of Money by others that know little about Football but have that Money to chuck at it...sometimes, by luck mainly, it works.

How are Lorient doing ?..Just asking...just asking ...d'you know whut ah mean ?

What's Mr Denim doing now ?

You see....these are the themes you can be looking at ..into....deeper
Neil is never wrong. But, he's not the only one.

Neil now has the second of the three forum nutters backing him on this point. He must be as chuffed as hell.

The issue is Neil genuinely believes his point, has never wavered on it from day 1 and has continually provided evidence to back his opinions, despite them getting challenged weekly by those performing on the pitch and most on here.

Your input is simply to jump on his coat tails, for no other reason than you want a response and an argument as per fuckingusual . You've offered absolutely nothing to back it up other than quoting 'Neil and Hughes'.

Neil's fought long and hard but this has to be the last straw.
