Enjoyed the game today, after no attempts on goal last season we had 10 today with 7 on target against City with 19 shots but only 5 on target.

Up front the difference was they can finish, except for Harry Wilson’s brilliant goal our finishing was weak.

Only seen this game at home but we seem to lack any real punch up front.

On Solent on the way back they were talking about Charlie’s injury and thought it was the other knee today and not the one he has just recovered from. Sad to see him pull up like that.

The game could have changed if Walker had been booked early on what did look like a yellow card and then being booked after should have City down to 10.

This criticism of the crowd is bolony - atmosphere was fine. Decent team performance and back luck with finishing against one of the best club sides in the world.

Mcfc showing the sly steel that barca could always resort to, de bruyne tripped opponents with no card being shown, lerma was booked for 1 trip.

Bad day at the office for marriner who ottled it against a big club.

Good team effort, billing looking like he can dominate midfield.

To be fair, Lerma's was a bit more than a trip. Deserved a yellow but Citeh should certainly have had another yellow or two.

Crowd were on good form especially in the second half when we had a spell of possession. The third goal silenced the crowd but to be expected. We will never be as loud as northern clubs and we have an ageing fan base due to tickets being dead mans shoes.

This is b@@locks. We are not as loud because of our ground capacity. And some us of a certain age have served our apprenticeship as far as the club is concerned so don’t be so patronising. I make plenty of noise, you only have to ask my wife about my big mouth

Sorry being as you were posting here, I guessed you weren't actually at the ground contributing, if you were spend more time singing and less time typing on here. Also size isn't an indicator of atmosphere, Wembley and Emirates are terrible and both huge

We had a CORE support of 10, 000 ish in 19...Nineteen...64...with a smaller population.
But of course the JCLs have the sway when it comes to opinion...cos they are There at DC...F#ck the Rest!

Brush the sand out your vag Bill. Not that many JCLs at DC, because tickets are still pretty hard to come by. In fact a bunch of JCLs would likely make more noise as the average age would drop loads. As for the population argument, many of that population are grockles so never actually suported us

Just watched the game again on Sky.

Think Walker was lucky to have remained on the pitch in the first half.

Good to see Charlie watching the game even with the support of the crutches, seems it is a recurrence of his old injury.

There was Billy....I agree ...but then it dropped down quite quickly...I watched it with two guys...one a Leicester fan , the other a Spur....they both commented on our 'quiet' crowd.....I dont WANT this opinion in my head....but I honestly think a M' boro crowd, for example, would keep up the noise level till the end in the same circumstances.

Died at that point obviously.... then it was up to a fairly decent level after HT until they got the third....then died prematurely.
Im quite happy to be shot down in flames by those who care....but I really do think our crowd is of the quieter variety......I would add though ..that Southampton and Manu for example are even quieter!

I was at the game in the Ted Shed. The difference I see in quality is the sheer speed at which the great players can change direction with the ball glued to their feet. I know thats the bleedin obvious, but it is something astonishing to watch close up. God given. Not something lesser players can ever achieve through training.
