Non Hampshire cricket

Weather set fair for the rest of the week in both Liverpool and Birmingham. Going to the wire.

At stumps 158-7
Hampshire lead by 160
Warwickshire still need two extra bowling points tomorrow to overtake Hampshire at the top of the table.
Then its all down to who wins their match.

With James and Liam making batting look so easy in those last couple of hours I was thinking a lead of 250 would be needed. Then they both go in the space of a few balls so who knows. With Abbas and Barker firing a new ball fingers crossed then we all become Somerset fans for a couple of days.

See now..and hear this...the MCC are going to implement, within the Laws of the Game for..Bats'men being referred as 'Batters' to get things on the 'Gender Neutrality' bandwagon.
How they will work 'Nightwatchman' and ' Maiden Overs'..remains in the balance....
....' manic(?) and batty if you ask me Batman( BatPerson ) !

With Jack Leach & Josh Davey continuing to frustrate Warks, it's looking increasingly likely that Lancs are going to leapfrog the top 2 imo. Hants still need 10 wickets, target now under 150 on a pitch that appears to be getting easier to bat on.

Come on Ampshire !!!!
Who would have thought Somerset would be getting near a 1st innings lead at Warwicks, 349-8 now.
