Dominic Solanke

Selling Dominic ,our leading scorer would be shear madness at this stage of the season and for a short term financial gain. We are precariously perched a handful of points above the relegation zone and it will only require a poor run to have us back in the mix again after all of the hard work to get out of it. Imagine the all round financial losses of losing our PL spot compared to the profit from a quick fire sale for Dominic?

AI has assembled the pieces of well built Swiss watch which seems to be keeping good time and getting better as it is fine tuned, take out the most important cog of that watch and we could be in trouble in very short order?

I would have disagreed with this a couple of weeks ago, and may well disagree a couple of weeks from now. But at this stage, there have been a few changes:
* the addition of BBR to SUFC strengthen them. However, they have probably left it too late.
* Burnley are going nowhere.
* The potential of points deductions for Everton and Forest remains an unknown, not to be counted on.
* Luton is on fire, and only six points below us with two head-to-head games to play.
* Brentford and Palace will stay in the conversation.

I would rather look up than down, and our next two matches could definitely move the needle in either direction.

I think selling Moore would be a very silly billy thing to do.....although not suicidal as it might have been had we had say 5 less points !
If we need a goal late on in a game and Solanke has about knackered himself over 80 minutes...then Moore is the perfect answer..always a handful for defenders.

This is Sky trying to rinse any form of drama out of the most boring transfer window since people invented real windows, let alone transfer ones. Them and Talksport rely on these events to bump up advertising venues and use audience numbers to do this.

They’ve had a month of ‘we’re going live to Rochdale…. “Thanks Jim, yes I’m here outside Spotlands and I can tell you we’ve just seen John Whaley enter the stadium car park in his Dacia, his agent driving, they’ve just gone under cover into the chairman’s office, the clocks ticking but we feel we can call this one as a done deal…. The much speculated loan from Kidderminster is go go go back to you Jim” thank you Kenny, what a night of drama’

It’s hardly Berbatov in a helicopter and Harry leaning on the window of his jag is it anymore.

Quite amusing on Talksport - Simon Jordan even smugger than usual due to the window being really dull - winding Jim White up..

That's so funny.....I had a mouthful of Special K...my missus is none too pleased....bits everywhere on her new embroidered table cloth and all mixed up with bits of her half finished jigsaw puzzle...

Brian, we all know you're lovably eccentric - but eating jigsaw puzzles for breakfast???

There's an old David Beckham joke about that...

Alex Ferguson is sitting at home watching TV one morning when he receives a phone call

"Hello boss, it's David Beckham "Yes David what can I do for you?" "Well boss, Posh has gone out and bought me a jigsaw to do. The problem is though none of the pieces fit together, it's impossible"

"What's it supposed be?" "The picture on the box is of a chicken, but like i said it's impossible, it's really doing my head in now, if i don't get it finished by Saturday I don't think I'll be able to concentrate on the game"

Ferguson starts to panic now. "I'll tell you what David bring it round here and we'll both have a go" "Cheers boss, that's brilliant"

About half an hour later Beckham turns up at Ferguson's house with his jigsaw under his arm. He knocks on the door and Ferguson lets him in. They walk into the kitchen, and Beckham tips the pieces onto the table.

Ferguson looks down at the table and then at Beckham. "David, put the f****g cornflakes back in the box"

He's absolutely not going anyway. As stated by others, media stirring stuff up.

And no ones going to offer anywhere near what he's worth to us ie more than 50 mill.

I expect him to leave in the summer though.
