Christie really? We all love that work rate and occasion silk but he's not player of season

I've always been a critic of Cook but he's stepped up this season best hes ever had.

I love Christie - he does seem to have this mad cult following probably through his work effort but that guy other week came out of nowhere and threatened to kill Neil when he mentioned his part in Forest equalizer.
Christie has become a religious sect.

Spiritually, it’s probably Christie. Most improved player, arguably the most important player in the current system. Epitomises the improvement and new energy that AI has brought to the club. Is unstoppable, and has been a POTM nominee for pretty much every month.

Voted for Solanke though, because ultimately, I think we’d be struggling badly without him. A Bournemouth player having the most non penalty goals in the PL is a ridiculous stat. How many points has his goals won us alone?

edited: apparently Solanke’s goals have earned us 11 points, so just over a third of our current total.

Disagree. A vital cog at both ends of the pitch this season. It's been like having prime Lerma with David Brooks stapled onto him at times. Look back at some of his tackles below  His range of passing has also massively improved this season. Cook has done well, but I feel like Christie is on another level at the moment.

In my defence I said Cook stepped up not that he was my vote for top boy or player of season. I voted for Solanke because his goals have made the difference and he's clearly been our best player overall and won us most of our points.

That's quite a simplistic way of looking at it. In the same way that a goalkeeper isn't the worst player overall because he doesn't score and concedes all the goals. It's a team sport, and both players have been involved in every game this season, win lose and draw.

There is an argument for both Dom and Ryan. Both have been excellent in their respective positions and have stepped greatly up this season. With both players I feel like it's like having an extra player on the pitch because of their workrate and different roles they play.

Tricky one.

Don’t know how anyone can look beyond either Solanke or Christie. Many others have been sporadically good, but these are the only two who have been consistently good over the course of the season.
