OAP concessions- disappearing at Spurs

No concessions to new buyers, and current OAP holders saving will reduce over coming years

Im surprised at many places the age is still 65 rather than increasing with pension age (now 66), but getting rid of them altogether seems harsh

It’s Daniel Levy… amazed he hasn’t done it previously.

Well, it would be a logical step for the club to remove the OAP concessions.

Bill Foley would like a younger clientele as they'll most likely spend more money in the bar and the shop.

I'm certainly expecting ticket prices to go up again next season.

It's an interesting dilemma for clubs who are oversubscribed with effectively a closed shop for younger fans getting in. Every year more and more people falling into discount categories.

Interesting as far as our club goes it’s the older fans who supported this club when it had small attendances when in the lower leagues.

Also the same fans who are in the concession bracket now as well, who supported this club when it was down on its knees and fighting for survival.

This is when getting into the top league was always a dream.

In fairness Billy I don’t think that’s the fault of anyone under the age of 25…
Probably didn’t word it very well.

Nothing against our club or fans, just pointing out that those that were also younger back then for instance at the Winter Gardens meeting 27 years ago, are now retirement age.

It is Spurs which the original discussion was about.
