Unsung hero of the season for me.
7 goals and 2 assists this season, whether it was by design or not, but his move to the number 10 role was a pivotal moment in our season.
He’s made that role his own, we look a better team with him in that position, when it’s all clicking with the press and yet he barely gets a mention.
Still only 24 as well. A great signing.
Bump. It’s not often I give Richard Hughes credit for anything so can I just say it took some doing to find the one Kliuvert child that took after his mum.
Bump.
did he end up costing just £10m?
absolute bargain, well done the recruitment team.....again

AI really is a great coach.
Solanke, Zabarnyi, Sinisterra, Smith, Christie etc etc, have all upped their games.
That's why Outtara looks like a problem.
Haven't seen anything to suggest he's a PL player, apart from that one time, at band camp.
White Hart Lane.
Didn’t he get a goal at DC as well as some decent performances?AI really is a great coach.

I think his leaving us will be a big loss to our recruitment department and quite a challenge to overcome.Indeed amazing to think some bloke on here was banging away telling us how rubbish Hughes was at his job. Hughes leaves quite some legacy of a lot of successes to outweigh the flops.
Yep !It's a sign of great coaching from AI (as well as good attitude from Kluivert).
At the start of the season Kluivert looked like a talented headless chicken. AI has given his game some focus and structure, and our massive upswing in form coincided with him settling into the #10 role. With freedom to pick out pockets of space across the front line, it's hard to defend against.
