Dominic Solanke

Pretty awful when you resort to fake news to make a point.
I said he can hardly get on a pitch. A lot of those 22 games he’s either come on late as he is being nursed through an injury or taken off early. He has started 7 games and only finished one of them. The rest he was a late sub. Iraola has talked all season he has had to be managed through. Not what he would have wanted from a prime signing. He’s now forced to play Dango which you wouldn’t wish on any manager.

45m for him and Adams to start 8 games. Good work if you can get it. Some agents chuckling away getting rich on Hughes ineptitude.

So your appearances are based on starts? Creative accounting again. Ai also said he doesn't always start his strongest players. His subs are an important part of his game plan.
I hate to break it to you but it's actually 22 not 7 appearances

ND said 2 managers haven't picked traore which was bs just pointing it out
Traore has only played under 2 managers at AFCB.

Andoni gave him a chance and he just didn't fit in.

Made Rothwell look like Messi.

So realistically only O'Neil picked him......and given options, I doubt he'd be a starter under O'Neil either, this season.

Traore needs a slow tempo game, hence he's in Italy.

completely agree, also if GON was still manager then we would of seen alot more of him, just because he doesnt suit our current managers system doesnt mean he is a bad player
True that.

He never gave us a moment of excitement though to be honest did he?

At least the Outtara fanboys are clinging on to the Tottenham goal, and what a great goal it was.

Outtara hasn't progressed in the slightest since.

I guess you could day Taraore has, he's at Juventus.

I doubt they will bend over backwards to sign him for anywhere near what we paid.

I'm guessing the club will suck up a 10 million paper loss just to get rid of him.

agree we will make a loss on him but not every player is a hit, personally I am happy with what we have for the money I know some people will feel we should do better but for the money spent and the squad we know have with the potential money we could make on them puts us in a good position going forward but that's just my view on it but i know people will view this differently

Relative to what you are spending though isn’t it? 110m on Dango, Traore, Adams, Faivre, Sinisterra who are either championship level or can’t get on the pitch…
Leicester, Saints and Leeds all spent more than us and are currently in a lower league. Everton and Forest spent more than us and will finish below us two seasons in a row. So no Neil, relative to what we have spent we are overachieving. We’ve made some signings that haven’t worked out but generally we’ve recruited well.

You can’t even get Traore’s club right, he’s at Napoli.

I’m really enjoying the season. Don’t confuse people having a different opinion from you as being miserable ;)
If you were enjoying it that much then why not post more about what a talented squad of players that we have, rather the few we have who haven’t excelled yet? It’s almost as if you have an agenda.

If you look at the money spent table, if there is such a reliable thing, we aren't no spring chickens.

When you spend big, you need to be accountable.

For the most part, our signings have been very good, but there's a few very odd ones in the mix.

Outtara being the main one.

Had Bill not had a stake in L'Orient we wouldnt have been near it.

This is a football forum, so we discuss these things, hopefully without upsetting the happy clappers and rose tints.

Of course ourselves, we all want Outtara to come good, Unal to fit the system, and Traore to come back better.

Rothwell, Moore, and Brooks to be on the pitch.

Isn't going to happen

We have a bloated squad of underachieving high earners.

Radu
Moore
Traore
Rothwell
Brooks
Outtara
Fredericks
Lowe
Anthony
Billing.

Thats probably 10 million quid in wages a year for players who don't play here.

Foley himself said we had too big a squad.

What he really meant was the wage bill is too high.

The real highlight is Andoni polishing some turds.

We've taken big risks on Adam's, Scott etc.

The last 36 months recruitment has been poor overall.

Sorry Waz, don't follow other teams like you do.

How's Forest doing?

How did your bet pan out
I very rarely do this, but you are blocked now. Conversing with you is a total waste of time and the nonsense you spout is barely coherent. Have a good one.

Poor little munchkins got his knickers in a right twist.

Must be a sensitive topic.

Wonder how he's coping with Forests points deduction?

I feel bad now, can someone whip round to his mums basement and see if he's OK?

Completely missing the point.

There have been some good signings and some very bad signings in the last 2 seasons

GOOD

Zabarnyi
Kluivert
Senesi
Kerkez
Semenyo

AVERAGE

Neto
Sinisterra
Adam's
Scott
Unal
Faivre

BAD

Traore
Outtara
Radu

We didn't sign Castrovelli, McKennie, Zaniololo, the Ecuadorian lad

The rest we already had, and Iraola has developed.

The last 12 months of Hughes tenure has been more miss than hit.

The good players were signed for peanuts, the shyte ones for 20 million quid a piece.
Wow, I didn’t know we paid £20m for Radu; I thought he was a loan.
