Non - irrational grudges

Started supporting Bournemouth 74/75 (thanks Dad) but lived near Swindon (thanks Mum), got relegated first season, so obviously hate Swindon (just pity them now)

Never liked Stoke, from Soccer Sunday on ATV at the time, but I was a good judge (still hate those twats)

Same with Coventry, with their **************** brown kit, pitch that was cut in circles out from the centre circle and Ian Wallace (don't mind them now)

Gillingham, Hassenthaler

Any northern team

Yes that includes you Watford

But Watford get another mention

But mostly the last decade, its really just the fucking bs we see for the 'top teams' - see Aresnal and Man Utd games for the latest episodes

Also I don't hate Forest, but they have been the gift that keeps giving the last 3 seasons

Then there is Leeds, come on Norwich

Another one in the anti Welsh camp . A complete non entity of a country , populated by chippy no marks ( strangely have nothing but affection for the Jocks and Irish ).
As for teams . The usual bunch for those of us of a certain era . Reading, Brighton , Swindon ,Bristol rovers , Gillingham , Aldershot … whenever we complain about being in the PL I think of those twats festering in the lower divisions green with envy of us and am reminded of how great it all is .

Did I mention Arsenal?

Stupidly big fucking flags, an embarassing little group of so-called Ultras and a stadium thats not as good as Spurs.

;-)
Not forgetting their semi-literate fans who’ve probably never been to a game but like invading the message boards of proper football clubs

All football related hates, really off the top of my head

Any of the top 6 sides, a silent cheer from me whenever any of them lose especially Livarpool and Manure

The fawning over them by the Beeb, countless articles on them, why?

MOTD and all the smug pundits on there including jug ears.

Eric Cantona - the French think he's an uneducated peasant - that's why he's over here.

Any biased PL Referees and the idiots manning the VAR desks

Not a grudge so much as a venal hatred- I’m guessing shared by many in the land- for Man United. For me it started in the 70s, and despite making great friendships with one or two United fans, it just won’t go away. I think it’s because it was fashionable to support them back in the day and I’ve never been one for fashion, as my dress sense will usually attest. That and their unending and untreatable arrogance.
