Aston Villa v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 3 pm

It's so obviously the latter and every time someone reacts he/she/they get a little thrill. It is ruining so many threads on here but until everyone just ignores it, however irritating it is, it will continue. Surely everyone can see that so why do so many still engage with it?

    Congrats to Pompey

My only away game at Pompey was a 2-0 win back in the early 80s. Unfortunately I missed both goals having been thrown out by the police for swearing (me and 1500 other Cherries fans so no idea why they picked on me). I was only around 16 and having to hang around outside the ground whilst...

    Have we become entitled

If you listen to 606 (not that I do very often as Savage and Sutton are twats) you'll hear plenty of more entitled fans than ours. Spurs spring to mind in particular.

    NON - Poole Town FC

I went with some mates. Have a vague recollection of some 80s style aggro before or after the game.

AFC Bournemouth v Luton Town - Wednesday 7.30 pm

Can't you just enjoy the moment? We're the first PL team in over 20 years to win from 3 nil down so it's obviously quite an achievement

Some of the comments on here are hilarious. After years of supporting Bournemouth never give up or celebrate too soon is my default mindset

    Our away support

Grimsby away, freezing cold Friday night 3-3 draw (remember Lee Bradbury's boxing celebration). Me and my kids made up 5 of 68 away fans in total. Bloody amazing fish and chips that night though!

Burnley v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 1 pm

As a few people have already said that was possibly the least enjoyable away win I've ever been to. Maybe partly to do with the 1pm kickoff, which resulted in lots of empty seats in the away end. But mostly due to how poorly we played. Our press with an under par Christie was ineffective and we...

AFC Bournemouth v Leicester City - Fifth Round FA Cup

I didn't read this thread during the game but on reading it back am surprised by just how many people were having a melt down and felt the need to slag off our own players. I didn't see a team lacking in effort and we had some spells of extended pressure, as did Leicester. We did appear to get a...

Yes but being selfish if Leeds come back up at least us northern based Çherries get another 'home' game.

    Newcastle United v AFC Bournemouth

I for one thoroughly enjoyed my trip to St James's Park. Very tasty burrito followed by several excellent pints in Head of Steam which in turn was followed by 100 minutes of very entertaining football. I'm a massive fan of the way we are approaching games, for me we were the better team pretty...

    Imagine the meltdown on here...

Agree with much of this - small margins as a certain ex-manager used to say. We're still fundamentally a decent team but we do need most of our players to be on their A game to get positive results. To be fair that's the case for most PL teams outside of the top 6. Given our squad and resources...

    Just got back

Thanks for this little insight into your journey and the people you encountered. As a predominantly away fan only I can identify with a lot of it although I don't travel so far and am far less eloquent. I think we may have briefly met outside Sincil Bank many moons ago - fairly sure it was a...
