Derby County v AFC Bournemouth

Going into the game on 40 points, at that stage of the season there had been only two teams who had achieved that and Fulham were top with 43 points back at the early part of 2000.

So Scott Parker and his team just put this down to a ‘bad day at the office’ and get back to the form and results we saw in the other games.

West Brom in third have dropped points as well.

Two woefully inept performances in the last 3 games against garbage..... worrying signs .....you wouldn't have known which team was bottom of the league tbf....we usually struggle against this sort of team when they sit deep but Derby were wide open today..... anyone who prefers Mepham to Steve Cook doesn't know what they're looking at btw .

And there we have it, number one suspect for-over reacting. Mepham played well for Wales in the week, perhaps Steve Cook isn’t deemed fit enough to start and he’s also a right sided CB

Steve Cook has been a fantastic left sided CB for us.....his best position actually.

Disclaimer, haven't read the thread in full, so don't know what others have said. Derby are far from the worse team we've played, they kept going to the end. We didn't all gel enough as a team, often enough. It appeared we missed a few good chances, proves again there's no free hits in this league.
Derby fans made a good atmosphere, tidy stadium with very helpful staff. Riverside Rocket subdued, just starting to warm up and reflect on the age old question "we got up at WHAT time for that?" : )

If we really have a manager that thinks Mepham is a better option than Cookie then he needs his bumps felt tbh ..... worrying lack of judgement imo.

Yes Parker is awful. 2nd and 8 points clear of 3rd in November, 2 losses, Record breaking run, record breaking run of no away goals conceded. Useless isn’t he.

Sack him.

I'm sure I spied elite squadron leader @RobTrent whizzing past the BOTN interview area as fast as possible - does he only chat when we win?!

One thing that was unnecessary today was Billing picking up his third yellow in a row and now has five and misses the Millwall game.

Disputed a throw in to their side and kicked the ball away for no reason.

For my money he was just carrying on play because it was far from obvious whether it should be a throw or not. Thought it a harsh booking.
