England cricket

Very close as it turned out. F1 the best finish in years as well both at the same time. Was hard to know where to look with both on.
 
Bloody hell !!!

Something very concerning about that defeat today. Yes the Indians were excellent but England looked way, way out of their depth. Which is bizarre considering how well they(Root and Anderson) had done to get to that position this morning.
 
We had them on the ropes at 8 down, then we had a 40-ish minute spell where we bowled horribly and completely let them off the hook. It doesn't help that we've not had a decent top order batsman since Cook retired, mind.

The young players are rubbish. Ridiculous techniques. We've already brought back Moeen and Bairstow to replace two of them. Time to finish the job with Vince, Denly, Morgan or Malan coming in for Burns, Sibley (honestly!!!!) and Hameed.
 
Root is an excellent batsman obviously but poor captain.

Mind you who would you pick ?!

None of the others are good enough .
 
They basically just need to put in as much effort as the India Team..in particular the Mental Application..then....then we will be fine and dandy Milky Molly Mandy for a Victory in the next Test....that's why its called a Test....you can't just be England these days and rest on the laurels that Hutton, Trueman, Botham and laid out ! Other Nations have caught up !
